Leaning one arm on his shoulder, she smiled and offered the bag to him to have a look himself. Lucas did indeed like to spoil Elise, and so did Hannah. She really wanted her to be happy, and wanted her to know that she and Lucas were always there for her. Nothing would happen that might tear them apart...
"I know she loves her trains, so..." She started in an equally low voice, glancing over at the toddler to ensure she wasn't looking. The girl wasn't, still so very engrossed in what was in front of her.
"I got her that, and a little bear."
The train was boxed up for the time being; a plastic toddler's toy that made sounds when it was moved. The stuffed bear was a fluffy brown thing, with a cheerful look on its face. Both hadn't been cheap, but again, she liked to spoil the kid.
