"I didn't expect that you would object," he said slyly, leaning down to press small kiss to her lips. Of course, he planned on giving her a proper kiss later once they were back in the privacy of their own home and he wasn't holding their sleepy little girl in one arm.

"Shall we go then?" He asked, nodding toward the exit of the store. They still had to walk back to their car and then there was the matter of calling ahead to one of the neighboring restaurants to put in an order for pick up.

"If mom needs us to bring anything, I'll just make a short trip to the store later." He added, looking forward to getting to spend a little time alone with Hannah, before they had to go spend time with his family.
