Random scenario test drive meme! For all you thinking about apping to our fair game. Because all our characters are the modern reincarnates of the people we canon reviewed for, you need a modern AU! Post your character with a couple details about who they are now. Use a prompt to set the scene! And tag around.
RAIN: The weather sucks and you gotta share a bus stop, overhang, or other cozy space with someone.
MONSTERS IN THE PARK: Doesn't really matter what they are, it's time to run and/or fight!
NEW ECHO: augh you were minding your own business in public and now you have feathers for hair, or you just had a vivid flashback to being a wizard, or suddenly you have your preincarnation's clothes on. Someone help! Or point and laugh, that works too.
NORMAL DAY AT THE MALL OR WHEREVER: Slice of life happens too!
WILD CARD: You can't be contained by these paltry prompts! Get out there and combine them or make your own!

Ah, now the real question. What brought him from the land of corn and occasional ice storms to the City of Locke. Yes, there was family here. Though that was not his actual motivation for doing so. Granted, it would be nice to actually get to know Karson. He was family...
"I would love to say that it was purely to be close to my nephew, but I'm not that great of a person. There was a job opening and I decided to take it. The fact that my nephew lives here is a happy boon."

She shifted back on the couch, settling more comfortably on it drawing some of her hair away from her face to tuck it behind her ear. A simple silver earring, shaped like the Leo symbol encrusted with a tiny peridot piece.
"What kind of job?" She hoped she wasn't being too nosy but. Maggie just always was genuinely curious to learn more about others. Seeing where they came from, where they went, nothing was more inspirational than the lives of others when it came to writing her stories.

"Oh. Well I took up a position at the high school as a guidance councilor," Kavi smiled. "I'm sure Karson will be thrilled."
Sarcasm. Kavi never told his nephew that he would be taking up residence in the city. There was a part of him that believed that Karson would likely not care either way. No, the man would just simply surprise the boy on the first day of school. Oh the look on the kid's face...

"Sounds a bit like my mother. She needs to make sure she's heard, and once she sets her mind to something there is no stopping her, no matter how unreasonable it is." Which was more than a little frustrating but after so many years Maggie had just learned to deal with it. In all honesty she would be lying if she said none of that stubborness had been passed onto her. She liked to think she wasn't quite as bad though.
"But better that than the other extreme of never speaking up, I feel." If only because she imagined never being heard of being that self conscious would be awful lonesome.
