Let us have another round of the CR/Plotting Meme, all - as before, open for making arrangements with and between not only current but potential characters in StE!

As with before, there will be a header under which to comment with potential characters - when doing so, please label with characters' reincarnated names (if decided!) and pre-incarnated names and canons in the comments' subject lines.

Character: Luke Kokiren
Pre-Incarnation: Link

Luke is your average shy 10 year old who explodes with enthusiasm once you get past the STRANGER phase. A lot of network the stuff is really overwhelming for him, but he's been delighted as fuck after each one of his echos so far.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Not many since he moved in from out of state. Aria as his babysitter is pre-established but there's not a lot else unless any of the adults want to be acquainted with his Grandpa. Declan Kokiren is entering retirement and works part time as a substitute teacher at various schools. I am also waffling about possibly giving him some kind of lethal disease at some point since he is Luke's parallel for the Deku tree, but I'll decide on that later.

Open/Wanted CR: I was 100% delighted with Luke's interactions with Asuka so if any more loud/pushy people want to overwhelm Luke with their personalities I am very game. Also his solo antics are going to start ramping up throughout November, so if any Concerned Adults would like to try and reel him in that would also be appreciated. OR if any similarly reckless people want to enable his boldly going that's be great too!

Other Info: Currently in his Echo arsenal Luke has a sword and magical fire powers. Next up is bombs which he CAN in fact hurt himself with. And probably will. So if you want in on some explosive action you know who to call.

Anything Else?: Nope. I LIED I should include contact info, I am iamtheuberlorax on both AIM and Plurk, although I have a slight preference for AIM. Feel free to get in touch if you wanna work anything out.

Luke would be a terrible person to be around Jamie because he would a) not call him out on his bullshit and b) probably laugh at some of his jokes. Horrible combination.

So yes it needs to happen immediately.

Unfortunately because of the shyness thing I generally need to get CR to come to Luke rather than the other way around, BUT his next post most likely will be 'HEY I HAVE ELF EARS NOW UM WHAT DO I DO???' There's probably some anime with elves that Jamie would want to recommend.

Also I hope he is ready for the ISN'T THAT A GIRL'S NAME? question cause you better believe that's coming.

Did someone call for Concerned Adults?

Luke's not much older than Naomi's daughter, so if he gets himself into trouble that could catch Naomi's attention.

Oh cool! Two things that are likely to be happening soon that her daughter might notice/relay would be that Luke is going to start skipping school a lot, and at some point he is going to smuggle a ferret into the building. Oh and he's going to start wearing a hat that he refuses to take off which might become A Problem on picture day.

I can't think of many more antics that he would try and pull during school, but these at least could put Luke on Naomi's radar so she'd catch on to other more ridiculous things he might be pulling during his hooky sessions.

Hm, probably not specifically BUT the ferret in question is going to be making a post about seeking human transportation, so it would be up there.

Okay, I can say Naomi connected the dots after the fact and...not sure, are there ways to contact him privately?

Hm, well it should be easy enough to look him up in one of those elementary school directories that they give kids? Has parents' phone numbers and things?

Not sure that'd work, it'd be a little weird for a random parent to call him up. Maybe they could meet after school hours or something, with Naomi picking up her daughter?

That could work! Or at a PTA type function? Like an open house or fundraising activity fair type thing that schools sometimes hold.

What about someone who adores kids? Especially if you're going with the disease angle, this one's studying medicine so there'd definitely be a tie there.

AFTER THINKING THROUGH a disease arc for Declan I have decided that if I was gonna do it I would do it in the most horrifically tragic way possible and I don't want to drop that kind of dramabomb on Luke JUST YET.

That being said we can totally lay the groundwork for it so that when he starts getting his Majora's Mask echos I can hit him with The Worst Tragedy. If she's interning at a hospital she could easily have met Declan for like early stage treatment/testing type stuff. And given that he was himself a pediatrician before going into retirement would give them reasons to be more familiar than regular doctor/patient set up, in which case she would have definitely heard about Luke if not actually met him. And has probably seen wallet pictures of him holding chickens and being a part of a baseball team and other stereotypical rural kid photos.

She would probably be doing residency within a year or so, so I'm not sure if that would quiiiite work. I can see if I can secure her an internship at the hospital, though. Probably wouldn't be anything too fancy, but would at least give her an in to have met and talked to Declan.
