British? Shave his privates and call him what? Those comments alone are enough to leave Kurogane gobsmacked, but that is nothing compared to what he feels as Fay continues talking. He doesn't quite know how to react to this version who seems to have already managed to learn what it has taken Fai more than a lifetime to. And even with all that his still as annoying as ever and equally incapable of making sense. It just doesn't add up.

"Well, good. Shows you have a bit more sense at least. Not that it'd take much." In spite of the grumpy words it still doesn't take much to hear the underlying fondness in his voice. "Make sure not to change that."

And the whole remembering stuff from previous lives or whatever was still weird. And a bit disconcerting. There were several things in his past he didn't want anyone else to just randomly know about, even if was another him, and he knew he wasn't the only one in their group to feel that way. And to be honest, the thought of someone being able to access the memories that Fai had spent so much time and energy guarding without knowing the importance of them didn't sit right with him either. "Really? Can't say I've ever come across that before. Can't say I like the thought of someone having access to my memories just like that. So, what kind of stuff are you guys remembering? Apart from the stupid nickname stuff." Seriously, what the fuck was up with that?

He chuckles. From what he remembers of the guy 'polite' would not be a word he'd use to describe him. Rude and brutish perhaps but not polite. Or considerate for that manner. But he did seem to care deeply for Fai, and Youou remember him risking great injury to save that girl, and there had to be some good qualities to him in order to make Fai so very fond of him. "More of a diamond in the rough, huh?"

Not that he knows much about this other version of him at all, save that he has a feeling he's not been very happy for a large part of his life.

"Well, I've remembered all sorts of things. Some things were harmless enough, about running a café and being in some kind of huge library, memories about people. Others were... less nice. Having my eye eaten, seeing two bodies underwater, a... tower." He shudders visibly. "Youou's gotten a mix too. He remembers a girl called Tomoyo, and this weird language, but he also remembers... ah, you killing a lot of people." Well, no sense in being bashful about it.
