Marisa is charismatic, bold, and quick to act as far as Anthony can see consistently - and while he's a hint self-righteously-concernedly, quietly critical of her more obviously less-conservative behaviors (where on earth did she get all of that booze at the first meeting in the woods?) on the whole he admires her, and respects where she comes across as rather reckless. He does hope he's likewise got her respect - though he'd not put it this way himself he's willing to assume he's much too uptight for someone more seemingly carefree such as herself to like - at least enough for the two of them to be amicable comrades, and he trusts she's got the mutual friends of theirs who she's in much better position to keep in touch with in good company!
