Indeed it will, since they' have like one short thread in the actual game!

I figure back in middle school, Annie was probably pretty intimidated by how psychotically smart Asuka is, and her outlet for that feeling was trying to one-up everything Asuka did in any field Annie was actually good at, like sports.

Whether or not Asuka gave a shit is not under my control.

Annie is kind of brain asplode at the extent to which Winter seems to be, like, an Actual Real Life Good Person And Adult. She wants to be closer friends with her, but at the same time is kind of like, who the hell do I think I am? I'm just some punk kid, and this is freaking Winter.

That's funny, that last bit is almost exactly how Winter feels with most people on the network. She just gets out of it with the high school crowd because her secretary role actually gives her social standing. "I'm just some shrinking violet. Who would want to talk to me...?"
