Hajime knows Anthony has the monster thing going much worse than he does in that Anthony can't change back, and he worries about how well Anthony will hold up. There's a sense of kinship there, and that drives Hajime to want to protect Anthony from anyone who would care to give a zombie a hard time. He'd be up for a mentorship role or something once he's able to calm down over losing control of his bug self like he's been lately. He'd also be up for what would possibly be a bad idea, in that he'd want to help Anthony get out of the house more/go do something normal for a while, just because he knows how hard it is to hang around inside all day--and he only had to do that for two weeks in comparison.
