Hajime feels really terrible about almost killing Thomas in part because even though Thomas gets under his skin sometimes, he knows it's all in good fun. He appreciates that Thomas still wants to hang around him even after he proved himself to be a crazy bug, and he intends to continue making fun of Thomas's car's paint job until the end of time because he finds it just that ridiculous. He enjoys hanging out with Thomas, and he knows that no matter what kind of crazy superhero Thomas turns into, Thomas has his back.
