rules are fairly straightforward but:

On a certain level, this guy is kind of funny. His weirdo spiritualism is completely at odds with Asuka's "SCIENCE!" worldview, but at the same time on some level she respects the sheer level of Disney Princess optimism Kaworu has. More importantly, though, he's connected to her with one degree of separation through Echoes. It's pretty obvious that he was very important to past-Shinji and probably at least knew past-Rei, and certainly seems to have more information on what exactly the hell was going on back then. It's got her wondering how she knows him, which is going to start annoying the hell out of her eventually because she'll literally never get a memory of the guy. He's also something to manipulate Shinji and Rei with close to the people she's connected to through Echoes and, most important of all, willing to put up with the kind of crazy shit she does on instinct, so he definitely seems worth knowing, even if Mario Kart is still for little kids.
