[Toby was a bit too caught in shivering and shaking - to keep himself "busy" in a silly way - to even notice that one of the other passengers had gotten up let alone approached.
He blinks on a man speaking up, turns his head. Blinks again at the coat with a lightly lifted brow, takes a moment to process the answer to "Are you talking to me?" and then, in turn, the offer.
A smile pulls itself up and open onto his face - and somehow the huskiness from the cold puts a little more eagerness to receive it into his tone.]
Ahh, god, man, thanks!
[Takes his hand off the bar and squirms and shrugs off his own wet coat - just as he finishes the bus starts again and he grits his teeth and sways a moment - plants a foot and catches himself! Pulls the man's jacket up and on with an idle, shivering laugh - in lieu of the "brr" that he might've actually emitted before achieving technical adulthood.]
Just - to tide me over 'til I get to my stop. Man, I was running around in the rain for like half an hour!
[He could be exaggerating; however long he was running about the rain he's certainly not in the past hour been within view of a clock. Not one that he would've noticed, at least.]
