As always, the meme's open for making arrangements with and between not only current but potential characters in StE; there will be a header under which to comment with potential characters - when doing so, please label with characters' reincarnated names (if decided!) and pre-incarnated names and canons in the comments' subject lines.

Character: Kallie Raydan / Lightning
Pre-Incarnation: Overly serious soldier > world's most wanted / potential civilization destroying monster >> guilt-stricken holy champion / warrior demigoddess >>> the SAVIOR OF SOULS (and over-protective older sister during all of the above).

Originally a badass mostly because her parents died young and she decided she needed to become ~Lightning~ to take care of her lil sis. Now she's just a college student who, thanks to having living parents and being an only child and not being a vidja protag, has turned out pretty different. At least in the 'badass' department. 8|

Pre-Network CR Opportunities:
Attended LCHS/'Locke High' 2006-2010 and was pretty successful in track/cross-country at the time. Middle of the pecking order, however, and only had maybe one unspecified romantic relationship that failed as her disinterest refused to wane. Briefly held down a job in a mall clothing store, but since getting into university (starting spring '11, currently an upperclassman Athletic Training student), has worked at the LCU health center for a few years now... and is extra-recognizable lately due to her unusual hair color.

Has a father in predictive meteorology and a mother who is a retired aircraft inspector, plus a number of unnamed aunts/uncles/cousins in a potentially huge range of ages. Member of St. John's Episcopal Church (Castiel Rev. Emmanual Hall's church). Avid runner. Owns a motorcycle that is waaay too fancy for her.

Open/Wanted CR:
If you're bringing in a roughly college age girl/guy, consider making them Kallie's pre-existing frand/acquaintance?! Or making someone of pretty much any age related to her?? 8D Otherwise, uh. She's usually distrusting of network stuff but can be coerced into spilling her feelings if interacted with just so; she kind of just needs (more) people who... continue talking to her even though she has a tendency to be stubborn and cut conversations short as soon as she gets tired of them.

Other Info: When it comes to network stuff, Kallie tends to come across as all kinds of paranoid, but she actually does have friends/family and a job and, while still overly serious, is a bit more functional socially - when she's not dealing with supernatural bullshit. So, yep.

Yes, Cloud.

Well I was thinking a little in his thirties, a semi-retired dirt bike racer that had a bad spill so can't race any more so he owns a salvage yard with a maybe shady kind of deals going on. He sometimes teaches people how to ride a bike, sometimes helps them with repairing their stuff, but still a bit of an outsider and comes from the Midwest states. I've been thinking Minnesota, Wisconsin, the Dakotas around in that area.

Kallie's mother is considerably older than her dad, and at least one side of grandparents are from out of the city, so it's totally plausible for her to have outsider cousins notably older than she is. 8|a She's also definitely into motorcycles - more sportbikes to cruisers than anything motocross, buuuut...

But it could be possible that the motorbike stuff is something the family has in common? Since I know that Cloud will start out with having some crazy skills that are pretty natural until he starts getting all his fancy SOLDIER moves. I know that he also is a tough nature hiker back home since it's a common thing in the smaller Midwest towns. He's going to have relatives all over and his parents are probably a solid working middle class family.

Oh yes, that's definitely something I could see being in the blood, as it were- taking different forms but oddly persistent. XD

There's also the option of maybe one or both of her parents being ~disapproving~ of him or something, if you're less keen on the idea of them knowing each other too well?

Well, maybe to an extent since I was thinking that his crash has some rumors about being part of a rigged race that no one either confirms or denies, and Cloud would not talk about because he doesn't see why it's anyone's business. They could also been a little close but distance and age difference might make things difficult to having a big close relationship.
