Pre-Incarnation: Rarity - My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Any especially-notable pre-game CR connections would have would be limited to the family of four who make up her owners - Mr. Jeremy, Mrs. Pearl, nine-year-old Linda, and six-year-old Michael Bell - any of whom would be perfectly fine to bring into the numbers-mess if not-excessively-decided and convenient and wanted matches for anything anyone might have in mind.

Open/Wanted CR: None specific in the slightest! She's fine and, on my end, definitely enjoyable to bounce off of most anyone, though anyone who she may have the chance to meet - or draw her out of her pasture within any circumstance to meet them - would be a particular joy!

Other Info: She remains not unconvinced that she's slated to become a human, between a pet cat, pair of glasses, song about sewing, and a few other things that'd not indicate that her Echoes are coming from the life of a horse - a change of mind and change of pace ought to come about as she'll be set to gain Rarity's horn, with luck and opportunity, between now and the end of the year, also opening the gates for her to rediscover and/or Echo Rarity's skill and interest in tailoring, should opportunities pop up for her to gain it or exercise it!

In sum, nerdy kid with a love of games and major anger and abandonment issues.

Open/Wanted CR: I would love for more openings for Bakura to be proven 100% wrong about people, whether it be someone he pegged for a jerk/traitor/etc actually being a really good guy or someone he thought was a good guy being a backstabber.

Also anyone who's a good stabilizing influence and friends for shenanigans.

Other Info: Bakura's plan to get into classes at Locke U starting the next semester has been derailed due to heavy plot stuff being a major road block for him getting his grades up enough, so he's still in the high school, much as he hates it.

ELIAN IS AN OLD MAN WHO HAPPENS TO TEACH an awesome subject at a university but he's on sabbatical.

Open/Wanted CR: ANYTHING. Everything. /stare

Other Info: Science. Elian is continuing to try and understand echos and their connection to the area, and privately wonders if this Enemy didn't happen to break a hole through another dimension or something. MAKES PERFECT SENSE, RIGHT?
He's finishing up buying a local home, and will be asking Chris for help in cleaning/fixing it up. From then he's going to start investing more and more of his savings in to scientific equipment ~~and rework his Will a bit~~.

Character: Xander Jarle
Former soldier of the military during 2002 - 2006, was honorably discharged due to the death of his twin brother, Conleth. Sees a non-network therapist, takes anti-depressants, sleeping pills, and smokes to make it through the day. He moved to Locke in the middle of August with his black Siamese cat, Connor. He's now a grocery store baker (it helps with dealing with the stress too), owns a second cat and is dealing with some pretty bizarre echoes from his preincarnation.

Pre-Incarnation: Sandrath
A former arch-angel before being corrupted by a substance known as 'demon blood' during several wars. After many years of mentoring another angel and doing nothing, he found a vessel to search the surface for answers. Along the way, he got some new abilities, became a little bit more crazier before siding with the beings of below. He's a fallen arch-angel now and enjoying his new life in a body of his own, with some interesting opponents springing up from time to time.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Extended family, old class-mates from elementary to high school (although Xander's family moved about every few years), military relationship with either Xander's father, Conleth or Xander. Ex-roomates or boyfriend / girlfriend, but very limited on the number.

Open/Wanted CR: I'm open to any type of CR.

Other Info: Made a post with him today, even though he's having a bit of a mental break down after his recent echo from Thanksgiving. It involves someone who looks exactly like his father and the threat of ending up with the same fate as his other self. There's also the conflict of leaving Locke to spend the holidays with his parents, which will make him forget everything and once he returns, well, getting all those unpleasant memories back will suck.

Locating Xander isn't very hard. He has listed the street intersections on the network three times (Xander's shadow mimicry post, Killian / Kili's request for finding a home and Zelos' request of ability demonstrations) and can be found at his work, either in the bakery section or sometimes particular aisles getting ingredients. He also walks everywhere. But, we could always arrange for a meeting somewhere else.

Character: Wheatley
Pre-Incarnation: Wheatley, except a robot. From Portal.

High-strung and neurotic. Talks at 90 miles an hour and never ever shuts up ever. He is sort of a dick, kind of dense, and mildly delusional. DESPERATE FOR APPROVAL and a little bit off-the-wall eccentric, but generally an okay dude.

In robot flavor he is a talking metal beachball built specifically to make other robots dumber. As you can probably imagine, that is not very good for one's self esteem or sanity.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: He works as a programmer in a tech firm and is basically a big loser who lives by himself in a crappy apartment but you may or may not have seen him around town wearing terrible plaid and riding a shitty moped. He's got no family in the country because he is super British and not From Here, but he's been in Locke for a few years so I'm pretty much game for anything if you want to work out some pre-established CR!

Open/Wanted CR: I would love anything and everything. People his age! People to fight with! People who listen to him and tell him he's smart! People who don't! Fellow tech-savvy types! People to drag him out of his comfort zone and don't care how much he whines!

Other Info: Complete toolbox. He likes talking and sitting in coffee shops on his laptop and kind of hates the whole network deal and wants to meet some of you crazy numbers club people in person. He's REALLY easy to rile up if you have a character who likes to rile people up, but he is also a good conversation partner??

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: His immediate family consists of only two caring but workaholic parents who've been defaulted to in assumption as having educationally-related professions - neither actively desired (unless-well on the off chance one might be entertaining the idea of apping canonmate Paul Luther in which case I'd be fascinated by the potential to lay most anything out) and likely to have by now dropped patience and declared him runaway. He also has quite a host of relatives French-Catholic in background, including one married aunt and several cousins he was particularly close to when he was small. Agreeable, well-read, and eager-to-please as he is, he was also a bit of a teacher's pet in elementary and much of middle school.

Open/Wanted CR: Anything that'll stick is very much welcome - particularly so would be anyone he can be himself around. So to speak. And especially in the form of p'raps more casual CR around his own age and a bit of a challenge in the form of encouragement/inspiration and/or something to the tune of rivalry or similarly less-positive CR - he's not notably clashed with anyone thus far!

Other Info: Anthony remains staying with John Mitchell, the two of 'em recently relocated into position to call themselves neighbors of Nick Burkhardt, and is getting increasingly anxious - especially what with a current source of paranoia - to make himself useful. Any adventures and/or shenanigans he might be welcome in will be highly welcome - especially to solve the blow of what'll very likely be his next plot and first Tier 2 Echo! (Which is to say, he'll be becoming a proper dead person - and unless he breaks a vase sooner in the month than that, it'll come with the "CHARLEMAAAGNE" scene.)

Character: Kavi Verma

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Family: related to Karson via unnamed mother! Uncle over here, woot woot.

Other than that Kavi works at the high school as a guidance councilor. Sunday mornings he also does a 3 hour talk show segment on the radio. He's only been in the city ICly since the last week of July.

Open/Wanted CR: Anything, really. I'm just super excited to get more echoes and build both positive or negative CR. Seriously, just anything goes.

Other Info: Kavi isn't really sure what to make of everything yet. While he believes what he's heard on his first post, it's a lot to take in and it hasn't fully sunk in yet. Truthfully, he doesn't really want to get involved.

Character: Julien!
Pre-Incarnation: Yuuya!

Spy pigeon turned semi-aimless postcollege guy, Julien is deeply in denial about turning into a bird, even as people have started bringing it up. Pacifist, very social and friendly, kind of a manchild but pretty decent, he volunteers at the LSR and takes care of sick birds on his own time.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: His social activity's dialed down since April, but Julien still loves people and is good with names and faces. And he's kind of a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to work. Friends and former coworkers would be awesome!

Relatives are also an option - they'd all be various Asian-Caucasian mixes, and talk to me for details. His dad's wealthy, influential, and not in this state.

Open/Wanted CR: Pretty much anything! He's not exactly confrontational and tends to back off from hostility, though. What I'd really love is some kind of romance, particularly something that doesn't last. It's fun having him flirt, at the least.

Other Info: I'm still planning to have him stabbed, and then have to adjust to his hearing changing. He may need more help with the birds.

Anything Else?: ...I'm kind of in a slump. It's hard to get into new things and think of plans! But I'm not going to lay back.

Character: Toushirou Hitsugaya
Pre-Incarnation: Same name - Bleach

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Schoolmates, teachers, soccer players or coaches are a good start. But he also runs errands for his grandma and can be run into on his own at drugstores, grocery stores and the like. So your character could possibly just know him as that one kid they see around semi-regularly with no adult supervision.

Open/Wanted CR: Not much in particular, here. Toss pretty much any idea up and we can talk about it.

Other Info: He's on Chris's Darknet because he is the most serious 11-year-old ever. He's gotten a few powers back, most recently the ability to sense reiatsu - soul or life energy, essentially. It's inexact, but it's there. He's still not sure what exactly he's turning into, but it's not something he dwells on very much. He's going to be pretty pissed off when he finds out that Winter was rounded up in that "drug bust" at Locke High . . . somebody may need to talk him down.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: high school kid who delivers pizzas. if you want cr, legit just order a pizza from pizza hut.

Other Info: i've actively tried to keep him out of plots because he's a big baby coward, but soon i am legit going to get him involved hardcore. for reasons. reasons i will not talk about because they are terrible.

Character: Hajime Aikawa
Pre-Incarnation: So before this all went down, he was Kamen Rider Chalice, and before he was Chalice, he was a big, nasty bugmonster.
Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Hajime has lived in Locke his whole life, and he has a large extended family. Many of them work at Aikawa's, the restaurant owned by his parents, which is where he also works.

Open/Wanted CR: I've said it before, and I've said it again--CR with characters who are also turning into monsters is always great.

Hajime's kind of worried about what he's becoming, so people who can keep him from getting too serious or brooding too much (or overworking himself because that is his coping mechanism) are also welcome.

Other Info: Hajime's currently having issues keeping himself under control in his bugmonster form, but this month, I'm hoping to have him echo back what he needs to keep the control issues to a minimum, at least for now. He'll pretty much be a proper Kamen Rider then.

Character: Arthur Curry
Pre-Incarnation: He used to be AQUAMAN, KING OF ATLANTIS and A-list superhero!

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Arthur has a lot of random extended family all over the place. He has one older brother whose only traits are that he's much older than Arthur and really does not like Arthur, but anything else is fair game, and it's possible that said brother may have had kids of his own.

He also has an outrageous 100 year old grandmother, Granny Curry, who would be absolutely hilarious to see played in-game somehow, I'm just saying.

Open/Wanted CR: Does your character need more boisterousness in their life? Then Arthur is your man. He's currently a bus driver for the middle school, so there's that, too.

Other Info: Okay, so there are two things I'm planning for Arthur in the future. The first is that he will be getting a job as a Santa somewhere this Christmas season. I am not exactly sure where. It will probably be a mall, although he'll probably do a few volunteer things at nursing homes and women's shelters just because he's that kind of guy. Surely no shenanigans could come of this.

I am also toying with the idea of having Arthur have a bit of trouble with the police. He may get arrested. There is a possibility this arrest could take place on a bridge over a large body of water. In that case, it would be the easiest thing in the world for him to fake his death, since he can breathe underwater and just wouldn't surface. They'd assume a drowning. (You know he's seen that Mythbusters episode where they were trying to shoot someone under the water like in movies and it wasn't working. staying underwater's safer!)

Even if he didn't fake his own death, if he escaped from the police and had to go into hiding, he'd pretty much try to just go live in the ocean. He'd need a few things from his house and for someone to take care of his goldfish, but he's getting to the point that this would be feasible for him. (He would also want someone to get word that he was okay out to Granny Curry somehow, because he doesn't want to stress that woman out.)

Character: Jeffrey Solberg
Pre-Incarnation: Son Gohan - Dragonball Z

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: I'd kind of like to keep his mom and dad as NPCs, but he does have two older sisters that I haven't outlined much about. Anybody around his age (18) that attended the private schools (that I haven't named) he attended before skipping right on to Locke U at 15. So also: college kids! Or professors! Possibly people from affluent families, because his qualifies on that score.

Open/Wanted CR: Just rolling with the punches, here, mostly. But somebody's gotta get the poor guy out more. Oh, and his first Echo was four years ago and he still doesn't know what he got out of it besides his number. Let's help him figure out he's more durable than he should be!

Other Info: He's probably getting talked into some "just in case" martial arts lessons which will of course net him an Echo. But wow, man, he doesn't wanna fight. His preference is to help with info and such; he's a skinny, wimpy bookworm, okay? And very nervous about pretty much anything. A real sweetheart you can basically walk on.

Character: Alexander Varista
Pre-Incarnation: same

Alexander is a nightshift paramedic for Locke City University Hospital. Unfortunately for him, he's been turning into a vampire and has recently Echoed back human bloodlust. He is also a volunteer for the 4-H club at public school, but he will be resigning shortly due to said bloodlust. Alas and alack.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Colleagues are possible! Someone who works either dayshift or nightshift emergency medicine are fair game, though he's been working nightshift for the past year or more.

Open/Wanted CR: Anyone want to harbor a vampire? See below!!

Other Info: Two major plans for him so far. The first is dealing with his bloodlust, which he will be somewhat satiating by drinking Reilanin's blood -- she isn't human, but she's human enough -- I am open to other "donations" as well, though it may take some weaving to put Alex in the position to ask for blood from someone. I'm keeping previous offers in mind as well!

The second plan is that he'll be arrested by Nick in the second week of December. I'm still working out the details. He will be using his hypnosis to obtain information from Detective Sherman. I'm thinking he'll then "ask" Sherman to let him go, but Sherman will have identified him, thus labeling Alex as another one of the eco-terrorists, etc.

I am not expecting a breakout effort, but if that's something folks want to do, then I'm open to plotting that out!

Either way, since he'll be identified and labeled a fugitive, he'll lose his job and have to split from his shared apartment with Ravi lest he drag Ravi down with him. If anyone's open to harboring a fugitive vampire who needs to drink blood on a regular basis, let me know! :'D

OH, additionally and before Nick shenanigans, I'm toying with the idea of Alex answering a way bloody case and getting shaken by it. idk if that would result in anything interesting, but I'm throwing it out there since I just realized I'd have a small time window to do it.

Character: Danny Fenton, the son of infamous local conspiracy theorists and roller coaster designers!
Pre-Incarnation: Danny Fenton/Phantom, secretly a half-ghost superhero with ghost hunter parents!

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: I'm happy to do some distant family stuff--things like cousins and whatnot. If your character is prone to making conspiracy theories, Danny might know them through his parents or through the Locke conspiracy forums online! He's a student at Locke High, so there's tons of opportunity there with other students or school staff! Especially if you are a bully. All the bullies come to me.

Open/Wanted CR: I'M UP FOR ANYTHING. LITERALLY ANYTHING. I'm really going through it slowly but I do plan to go through all the possession sign-ups that I offered! Otherwise anything. Seriously.

Other Info: I have. A lot of plans with Danny right now actually. Uh. This month he'll be taking a trip back down to the rock under the Tuning Towers with Brooke. On the less plot-important side of things, he'll be finally finding out he's dead, so ALL THE DEAD PEOPLE COME TO ME, WE ARE GOING TO HAVE CR GODDAMMIT. Also he'll be posting about his lame superhero suit and his "Inviso-Bill" alias.

Pre-Incarnation: Kratos Aurion | Tales of Symphonia.

Just your average chem teacher who is now a deputy superintendent on the police force. He has a dead wife, a 'dead' kid and way more emotional baggage than he lets on.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Family from Boston, friends from Boston, people who would have seen his crappy hair metal band perform in the 80s, follow cops, follow school teachers and people working at Starbucks (he's there everyday and tips very well).

Open/Wanted CR: I always love more negative cr for the guy, especially people who would just completely rub him the wrong way. People having crushes on him or stuff could be fun to play with, too! Kids, especially one he could mentor, are ALWAYS loved. More cop cr would be great! People who can drag him places and force him to have fun would also be super super amazing.

Other Info: Right now Karl just led the drug bust on Locke City High and will be witnessing a student die on Tuesday so he'll be a bit on the emo side for a bit. He'll be frequenting the police station more often thanks to his promotion, but also can be found at the high school, at the shooting range or at Starbucks.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: He hung out in the DD/local parks a lot before moving in with Shou and he's been here for six months. Never went to school, though, as he was homeschooled.

Other Info: He still hangs around the parks a lot, but also a bit near Shou's area and the stables he works at. He also just got an Echo that gave him dwarven craftsmanship in jewelery back, so that'll be happening soon. Come get your epic Christmas gifts from him XD

Important: either some time this month or next month, depending on if I can work it into the plot, his mother will be dying. IDK when it's gonna happen yet, but it's happening soon so I can get him more involved with plots and stuff since he won't so long as his mother's around.

Character: Kallie Raydan / Lightning
Pre-Incarnation: Overly serious soldier > world's most wanted / potential civilization destroying monster >> guilt-stricken holy champion / warrior demigoddess >>> the SAVIOR OF SOULS (and over-protective older sister during all of the above).

Originally a badass mostly because her parents died young and she decided she needed to become ~Lightning~ to take care of her lil sis. Now she's just a college student who, thanks to having living parents and being an only child and not being a vidja protag, has turned out pretty different. At least in the 'badass' department. 8|

Pre-Network CR Opportunities:
Attended LCHS/'Locke High' 2006-2010 and was pretty successful in track/cross-country at the time. Middle of the pecking order, however, and only had maybe one unspecified romantic relationship that failed as her disinterest refused to wane. Briefly held down a job in a mall clothing store, but since getting into university (starting spring '11, currently an upperclassman Athletic Training student), has worked at the LCU health center for a few years now... and is extra-recognizable lately due to her unusual hair color.

Has a father in predictive meteorology and a mother who is a retired aircraft inspector, plus a number of unnamed aunts/uncles/cousins in a potentially huge range of ages. Member of St. John's Episcopal Church (~~Castiel~~ Rev. Emmanual Hall's church). Avid runner. Owns a motorcycle that is waaay too fancy for her.

Open/Wanted CR:
If you're bringing in a roughly college age girl/guy, consider making them Kallie's pre-existing frand/acquaintance?! Or making someone of pretty much any age related to her?? 8D Otherwise, uh. She's usually distrusting of network stuff but can be coerced into spilling her feelings if interacted with just so; she kind of just needs (more) people who... continue talking to her even though she has a tendency to be stubborn and cut conversations short as soon as she gets tired of them.

Other Info: When it comes to network stuff, Kallie tends to come across as all kinds of paranoid, but she actually does have friends/family and a job and, while still overly serious, is a bit more functional socially - when she's not dealing with supernatural bullshit. So, yep.

feelingsy boy protagonist extraordinaire who has a really unfortunate space robot currently waiting in the ether for him. now a feelingsy boy who has no urge to be a protagonist in this story because he likes himself and other people alive and mostly in tact. but you can take the gundam pilot out of the space jungle, etc., etc. he keeps finding himself in shitty dangerous situations anyway. or going after those who are.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: former LHS student, now goes to LCU. works at the public library. his mom is a kindergarten teacher at the local public elementary school and gives piano lessons during the week. he doesn't know his dad but they have a sprawling connecticut-based old-money family.

Open/Wanted CR: open! more people his age (18) even though he couldn't even pull that off in canon. good calming influences. i'm slowly gathering father/mentor figures and sciency-types. always willing to butt heads with people.

Other Info: i want to have him start getting more impulsive and willing to stick his neck out now that shit is hitting the fan in several ways! but he is, for all intents and purposes, a badass normal with above-average reflexes, so he'll need good backup or insane luck. maybe beating the tar out of someone so he can echo back the fact that he did that in canon, oops. i threw the idea out on plurk and haven't done much more with it since then -- but i was thinking of having him echo back a piece of his robot that essentially makes him mind-meld with people. i'd have to get this cleared for what i'd ultimately like to do, but potential traumatizing memory-sharing is something i want so badly you'll have to pry it from my cold dead fingers.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: He goes to Locke City Academy, the prep school. More fellow students would be awesome! Alex is also something of a geek, so people could easily have spotted him at comic book/game stores or cons. Also, his mom is an English professor at the university, and she's the main organizer of the annual Shakespeare in the park thing the department does.

Open/Wanted CR: I'm up for pretty much anything! I love frenemy-type deals, I love non-combative friendships, and anything in between. I apologize for flaking on stuff I'd planned before my vacation and surgery ate up most of November - feel free to prod me about anything you'd still like to do!

Other Info: Alex has some of his former version's shape-shifting abilities back, but he's currently limited to changing from human to mostly-Andalite and back again. 'Mostly-Andalite' consists of the back half, including the tail, and stalk eyes. Soonish, I want him to get the ability to acquire and morph an animal, though he'll have to figure out how it works. After that, I plan to have his 'real' body reset to Andalite, which means he'll only be able to be human for two hours at a time before having to change back. He's told his parents about the weird stuff happening to him, so he has more freedom than before, when he was constantly being grounded for sneaking out.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: High school student! Band! Track team and stuff. Otherwise she lives in an apartment building and that could open stuff up! I love the idea of pre-network cr opportunities. It makes me happy.

Character: Richard Jovan Burzek, a quiet LCU student in his junior year who moonlights as a troll on the internet and the network.
Pre-Incarnation: Nathan Young, a loud, crude, rude, and outrageous kid who ended up getting an ASBO and doing community service for it.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: His mom, who he hasn't seen in like twenty years, is open, if anyone really wants that! Otherwise Jovan's family is too distant for it to really matter, I think. He is a TA for some English/public policy courses at LCU, though, so if your character's a freshman or sophomore taking those classes, they might know him!

Open/Wanted CR: I kind of want to build up on-network CR and off-network CR for now and then see what happens when eventually Jovan reveals himself on the network. But that won't happen for a really long time. Really, I'm open to anything!

Other Info: He recently made a post pretending to be the chief of police, so. That was a thing. I think he'll start going by Simon Edwards on the network as his alias, even if everyone knows that's not who he is.

I'm thinking of doing an open action log where people can IRL spot him somewhere (coffee shop, on campus, wherever) browsing the network on his phone or in a notebook or something and then start talking to him as a fellow network person from there. Would anyone be interested in that? I do not even know.

Other Info: So yeah he kind of works for the bad guys now in that double agent sort of way. Naturally he's paranoid as all fuck and has convinced himself that everyone wants to kick his ass or shoot him or whatever.

Character: Michelle Velasco
Pre-Incarnation: Chell (Portal)

In her past life she was an absurdly determined test subject on the run. Nowadays she's a marketing drone at Caroline/GLaDOS's firm- that's sure to end well. :D She's more open, friendly and (obviously) talkative than her predecessor at present, and hasn't really tapped into that endless stubbornness.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Michelle attended LCU (communications major, class of '09), so she could easily have classmates on the network. She's lived in Locke since then, and you might have seen her around town jogging, hanging out in the coffee shops with a science magazine, or running errands. I need to figure out more hobbies for her. Former coworkers, roommates or boyfriends/girlfriends? Friends and acquaintances?
As for family, I don't want her to have a lot of Numbered family, but maybe a cousin or two.

Open/Wanted CR: Everything! Michelle's still new and only has a handful of casual acquaintances right now. Positive and negative CR are both welcome. :3

Other Info: I don't have specific plans for Michelle at current. I'm trying to figure out how to get her involved in things, since she's not terribly invested in Numbers stuff yet and doesn't have any useful abilities until she gets her portal gun- if someone has an idea to either get her the gun or get her more personally involved in things, I'd love to hear it.

For now, she's interested in knowing more about what's going on and How This Shit Works, so she'll probably poke her head into posts about that.

Uhh what else, I've got a list of echo ideas at her journal.
