Ahhh I completely adore Karl. I'm not familiar with his canon at all, but he seems like a such a complex, fantastic character, and I enjoy threading off of him and seeing what he gets up to! And I was completely blown away by your player plot with him - I loved getting to work with that, and how you were willing to roll with both the positive and negative consequences of it! I can't wait to see how things develop with all the police stuff :D
