Questions Meme
This is a meme in which you TALK FOREVER. How it goes:
1. Make a thread for yourself in this post, listing the characters you play and your own name.
2. Go find someone's thread to jump and ask them A QUESTION. The question can be anything, RP related is common, of course, but not necessary. Who do you want to app most? What does Character A think about Character B? What's your favorite flavor of icecream?
3. Answer all questions asked of you! Once you have answered, end your response with a question for the person who first questioned you. This is important to keep the discussion going and going.
4. This goes back and forth indefinitely until someone gets tired and can't reply anymore.
5. Have a lot of fun! ♥
This game is a fun way to get to talk to people, headcanon, and learn things you didn't know before! Because it involves gives and take, it can go quite a while and everyone can participate and possibly make friends.
Here is an example.

What fuels Kara's desire to stand up and prevent people from being hurt?

A large part of it is just her natural sensitivity - she's very invested in making sure that the people she cares about are safe, and she cares about pretty much everyone to some extent. A lot of it also has to do with where she's from; the Ukraine is relatively stable now (or it was at the time of my writing my app, s-sob) but Kara's parents and other older relatives were alive for the Soviet days, and the stories have been part of her growing up.
Once she got older she also kept up with politics both in Ukraine and neighboring countries, especially Russia and Belarus, and when she went away to college that was supplemented with making friends from those places. She knows very well that people can suffer monumentally at the hands of others and it always seems to rear its head just when you think that everything is finally over, but instead of making her cynical it's made her more determined to do her best to stop that from happening.
Kara knows about the bad things, but she also knows about the wonderful things that have happened in spite of and because of them. She feels like not fighting just because tragedies will always happen invalidates all of those good things, and she isn't willing to let that happen.
What kind of stuff are you looking forward to Alistair getting into in the future? Since he's kind of new and all.

Oh man, I'm not really sure. I didn't have any particular direction in mind when I apped him, and he's so new that I haven't really figured out where he's heading yet. BUT in general, things I'd love to have happen:
- "The Sunshine Farm" appearing on the network; something happening on the show that prompts Alistair to actually show a bit of it. Because hilarity.
- The return of the darkspawn's taint. Because I'm terrible like that.
- Forming bonds with people in the Numbers Club. He needs those friends in his life, and I'd like to build some really tight CR with him.
- SHARING HIS LOVE OF CHEESE. Possibly a club. Once said love of cheese returns; as it is, he just thinks it's Okay. Not "YAY CHEESE!"
I'm sort of a silly person orz. The biggest thing is the building of CR. Alistair's relationships with people have a huuuge impact on him, after all.
And now, I'm going to be super uncreative and fire the same question back at you!

And ahaha oh god I would love for the kids' show to pop up on the network somehow. That would just be perfect.
I HAVE a few ideas, nothing really concrete beyond something I'm looking forward to with a specific echo. I'm gunning for most of Kara's power/physical regains to be comically ignored because she's so quirky most people just write it off as her being herself even as she's pulling doors off hinges and turning orange. But then she'll regain her Tamaranean physiology after a string of other echoes and suddenly shit gets serious as her innards liquify and she's vomiting tons of blood and it will be awful and I'm so pumped for it I feel kind of bad.
Aside from that I don't really have much in particular to look forward to, haha. Recent threads have kind of made me determined to get her cr with every old person in the game because wow it's super cute. I'm also looking forward to castmate shenanigans and her being aggressively Ukrainian at people and freaking them out, especially with food.
What're your characters' holiday traditions like? Anything especially weird?

Alistair scorns religion of any sort, and actively doesn't celebrate Christmas. However, he knows that it's a tough time for other people. When he was in the military, he spent the day with his wingmen: dropping in on those nearby who had no family (or who couldn't go home to it), and calling up those who were stationed elsewhere. Since separating, he still makes his phone calls — but mostly, he's the one getting the calls. It used to be a busy day. Now, it's not so busy; a time for reflection and reconnection, more than anything.
So, even though he doesn't celebrate Christmas, he still winds up celebrating the day.
What does Kara consider to be three defining moments in her life? (If she considers any to be defining, at all!)
