Questions Meme

This is a meme in which you TALK FOREVER. How it goes:

1. Make a thread for yourself in this post, listing the characters you play and your own name.
2. Go find someone's thread to jump and ask them A QUESTION. The question can be anything, RP related is common, of course, but not necessary. Who do you want to app most? What does Character A think about Character B? What's your favorite flavor of icecream?
3. Answer all questions asked of you! Once you have answered, end your response with a question for the person who first questioned you. This is important to keep the discussion going and going.
4. This goes back and forth indefinitely until someone gets tired and can't reply anymore.
5. Have a lot of fun! ♥

This game is a fun way to get to talk to people, headcanon, and learn things you didn't know before! Because it involves gives and take, it can go quite a while and everyone can participate and possibly make friends.

Here is an example.

NGL ME TOO

I would say Nick is in Kotetsu's inner circle, but the truth is more like he's in Kotetsu's inner line segment, which is comprised of him and Ravi. Before Nick got his number, Kotetsu had sort of...taken the burden of Edwards' actions entirely on his own shoulders, and he was honestly in a lot of pain, emotionally, because he was struggling with a lot of guilt and self-hatred for something he really couldn't have done anything about. He was also kind of cut off from the only social contact he had in his personal life bc he didn't trust anyone not to be with the aliens. And then Nick came along, and they talked about things and made plans on what to do if they forget and it helped him kind of be able to breathe again. Nick has been there for him at his lowest moments, and that's one of the only shortcuts to getting underneath those walls of his. Nick is quite literally the most important person in his life right now (save for his family), and I honestly don't know how he'd react if Nick ever lost his memories of the network, but it would break his fucking heart lmao

AS FOR THE OTHER QUESTION! there's sort of two sides to it! bc when I was writing my app initially, I pretty much intended Kotetsu to be like, canon minus the superpowers. But as I was filling in the details and creating a coherent backstory for my "troubled youth turned cop" concept, he sort of naturally turned into something pretty different, took on a life of his own! So in a way, Kotetsu becoming his own character beyond his canon self was a bit unexpected!! But re: his development in game!! I actually plurkbabbled about this sometime back but idk where it is. The main thing I didn't expect was him taking a sharp left turn into Chaotic Good, while he's very firmly on the side of Lawful Good in canon. STE Kotetsu is at the point where he will not hesitate to abuse his authority or straight-up break the law to protect the network. He'll help network people get away with breaking the law if it'll help their cause, is now beginning to put himself out there to fight back against the push to flush them out. He's more practical than his canon self and less focused on morality, too, which I didn't see coming at all. He's willing to let Shiro kill a tracker dog to get him on board with capturing one, because that seems less risky than trying to kill them all, and he didn't argue about killing Sherman bc it wasn't happening in the short term and he didn't need to. He's shown himself ready to kill monsters like the werewolves and the vermedi if his or others' lives are threatened. Idk how this will translate to human lives bc he still doesn't want to kill people, and in this log I'm going to do with Mamoru they're gonna beat up some Blood Keys but capture them instead. That said, he may not, if it comes down to it, interfere with others' decision to kill in a life-or-death situation, which he ABSOLUTELY WOULD in canon. There were no exceptions to his Thou Shalt Not Kill in canon, and the very nature of STE's setting softens that already, so it'll be interesting to see where that goes.

What do you consider Nick's most interesting developments, and are there any echoes you are particularly looking forward to?
