Questions Meme
This is a meme in which you TALK FOREVER. How it goes:
1. Make a thread for yourself in this post, listing the characters you play and your own name.
2. Go find someone's thread to jump and ask them A QUESTION. The question can be anything, RP related is common, of course, but not necessary. Who do you want to app most? What does Character A think about Character B? What's your favorite flavor of icecream?
3. Answer all questions asked of you! Once you have answered, end your response with a question for the person who first questioned you. This is important to keep the discussion going and going.
4. This goes back and forth indefinitely until someone gets tired and can't reply anymore.
5. Have a lot of fun! ♥
This game is a fun way to get to talk to people, headcanon, and learn things you didn't know before! Because it involves gives and take, it can go quite a while and everyone can participate and possibly make friends.
Here is an example.

1. When he was 9, his family packed up and went to the Philippines for the summer to see his dad's side of the family! They spent most of their time in Manila and exploring northern Luzon (but didn't go towards Visayas because there is literally a city called Roxas City southaways and I don't even want to comprehend the irony), and Skyler looks back on the memories pretty fondly. That was the last big family vacation they had before the economy went under and both his parents lost their jobs. :( He kind of associates the Philippines and the island atmosphere with family and paradise. He's Facebook friends with most of his Filipino family, and that's partially why his Tagalog is a lot better than a lot of Pinoys his age, but he's dropped out of touch with them over the past few years.
2. When he was 10, his mom pulled both him and his older brother aside to explain that they had to start taking care of themselves since both parents had lost their jobs and they wouldn't be around as much. Skyler, being the shitty little butt he is, started whining about he didn't want to do that and he DEFINITELY didn't want to take care of Arielle, since Skyler was the baby of the family before Ari came a long and he was still mad jealous, but his mom shut that shit down hard and told him that, among everything else Milo and Skyler had to do now that the parents were around less, Ari was his responsibility now. Even though she sort of meant it as a blanket statement for both of them, since Milo's pretty intensely introverted and awkward, Ari and Skyler started hanging together a lot anyway, so they ended up surprisingly attached to each other. They're both really talkative and extroverted, so they'd do the butt end of the chores since they could talk to each other at the same time (Ari would bully him into doing more around the house once she was old enough hu hu hu). Now that both their parents are employed, it's kind of strange giving some reign of the house back to Mom when he's so used to cleaning up the bathrooms and dusting with Ari. (ONE MORE THING YOU DIDN'T ASK FOR: his room is a lot neater than Sora's because he's used to picking up after himself! It's not perfect but at least he's not tripping over laundry all the time.)
3. There was one moment in middle school when he was 12-ish while his middle school class was unattended. Some kid getting relentlessly hassled by the tougher kids in the classroom. He recalled all of the stories of what his dad's years at school were like - his dad was smart and also the only Filipino kid in his particular school in California, where his school had been mostly well-to-do white kids. He got bullied relentlessly for everything from his academics to his name, and Skyler never liked the sound of that. So instead of siding with the kid, which is what Sora would have done, he sided with the bullies, or at the very least aspired to be someone that they'd like instead of bully. No matter what, he decided, he didn't want to be disliked by people who could hurt him.
(as you can see today, this turned out poorly.)
Is there someone or something Axel would drop everything to address if something went wrong for it/them?

longer answer: axel doesn't get close enough to people to care enough to drop everything for them. it's not that he's incapable of it: he just considers it a huge hassle. he doesn't see the benefit in being close to someone. he lacks the powerful bonds that his preincarnation had: he doesn't do friendship, he doesn't do loyalty, and he doesn't even do real relationships. he's in it for himself, and only for himself.
that's one of the things that i think will be fun to play with, as he starts getting more echoes of the SUPER FRIENDSHIP FEELINGS that his preincarnation had. he already doesn't know wtf to do with one where he apparently developed a serious issue with the word "flattered". (he echoed back the "I'M SO FLATTERED" moment, and allllll the emotions that came with it. VERY CONFUSING.)
do you think there will ever come a time when skyler begins embracing the echoes he's receiving?
