[Anyone at the grocery store around 10 in the morning on New Year's Eve will find a young man in plain green scrubs looking through the pastries. He looks somewhat wiped, like he's been working all night, and when he finally spots a clear plastic box of apple turnovers that seems to please him, it takes him a minute to actually find the shopping basket he'd placed at his feet.
He looks sheepish as he bends to pick it up, and when he stands to walk toward the vegetables, a nametag falls from his pocket. It says 'Ken Brand, R.N.', and there's a sunflower sticker in the corner. It's probably the kind of thing someone should mention to him.]
