TEST DRIVE MEME
> The Park. Man, what a nice day out. Why not enjoy it? I'm sure -- shit, yep, there's some echo monsters.
> The Mall. Exactly what it says on the tin! Dodge the hordes of teenage mallrats or take part, whichever suits your tastes.
> Rainy Day. Agh, it's fucking awful out. And is it raining those vermilion things?? Now you've got an Echo to contend with on top of everything else. Find some shelter, quick!
> PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION, HOW FUN
> The most horribly kitschy Arts and Crafts Fair you can imagine.
> NEW YEARS. What better way to start out the new year than to learn that everything you know is a lie? Or if you are already acquainted with the network pass out some resolutions.
> A food fight has just broken out in the cafeteria. Join? Flee? The choice is yours alone.
> Wild Card! Make up your own.
Dio Brando ★ JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
[Diego Brando, law student extraordinaire, popular all through his life, working on family court cases and saving battered children, much more socially adapted, much more successful, much more awful than his (foster) brother. He borrowed JoJo's unlimited metrocard (it's not like he'll use it, anyway) to go get a smoothie and was thinking of dropping by the mall until he saw how crowded the subway was.]
[He's still not used to being this tall--
195 cmalmost 6'5" now, almost half a foot taller than he was before, and his clothes don't fit and he had to take JoJo's (and they smell), and his eyes are even with JoJo's now, and he's not ready to pay attention to all the signs yet. He stumbles getting on the car, hand coming up to catch himself on the bar and misjudging the difference, pitching forward and spilling his smoothie.]I'm so sorry. [he says, picking himself up and adjusting his scarf first, self-consciously.] I should have a napkin.
network option;
[He's been trying to avoid this, but he has interviews to go to, and he needs to show up in a good suit and shirt or else his career might as well be over. There's no hiding behind turtlenecks or scarves or even the occasional (admittedly good-looking) choker, not when he needs to get into the best possible law office he can.]
[So he seems to have written on the mirror, standing tall and confident but still a little uneasy, turtleneck on as usual, as he asks]
Is anyone good at covering up scars?
no subject
[here. have a smiling person of outstanding fashion respond. he probably might be okay looking, but who can tell under the layers of fluff, lace, brocade and -yes - vampire teeth. he practically sparkles as he waves.
that could be because of the rhinestones sewn on the cuffs of his sleeves.]
And how deep they are.
no subject
They're deep.
[He remembers enough to know that much.]
But I'm out of other options unless I manage to find some vintage shirts.

[The scar is across his neck, thick and red and angry, and appears to go all the way around. It's also hard to tell, for the split second he's showing it, but it almost looks like the skin tone is different on one side than the other.]
[But he straightens the fabric to hide it again.]
Can you do something about that?
no subject
Hmm, I might have a solution for that. It will be a tad uncomfortable at first, but once you get use to it, I'm sure you will love the results.
However, I will have to work on it at first to match the skin tones exactly, and it is not something you can just take off like a jacket.

As for price... Well. I do admit that I am not cheap, but for one of us, how about the price of the materials, mm? It should only be under a thousand.
no subject
I hope that's a thousand in general, and not just for one time. I'm still in school, unfortunately.

How soon are you available?

Unless it is a Saturday. Then I'm afraid that I will be going out at that time.
Action!!!! Both are so good and perfect for Zoey!!
She'd opted for the subway because she was already running late for work after her step-father finished yelling at her about the house being a mess when he woke up that morning. He hadn't wanted to hear that it had been because she'd worked a double at the diner after her normal shift at the grocery store... he'd only cared that the dishes hasn't been finished... it never matted that her step-siblings did nothing at home. He'd cuffed her and she'd apologized, escaping the house as quickly as she could. It was the same thing every day for Zoey and the only thing that changed was what they yelled at her about, but now she had to make up for lost time. While there were downsides to the subway, she'd still get to work with a few minutes to spare if there were no hiccups.
There were always hiccups... they just varied and today was no different.
Though she made a point of keeping to herself, there was no missing Diego when he got onto the subway car she was sitting in and she's watching as he misses a step and stumbles. She's watching, but here's no fighting the effects of gravity and the contents of his smoothie to flying and hit home to the sound of her gasp. She sits there, a bit stunned, as the contents begin to soak into her oversized sweater.]
It's okay... I'm fine... It's fine. [She manages a weak reply, wiping her hands against her jeans as a dark blush colors her cheeks.]
