Getting straight to the point has always been a lot easier for her than beating around the bush, and while she is fairly sure that she got the right person, checking first definitely won't hurt and feels necessary.

Gabriel stares at her with the slghtly disconcerted look of someone faced with a name he didn't expect to see. Then his face brightens into a smile, and then a laugh. "So they still haven't taken that name off the website? I asked them to a while ago."

He offers her his tea free hand to shake. "Call me Gabriel. You wouldn't be Siiri, would you?" There couldn't be many Finnish young women with glasses and long blonde hair looking for him around these parts.

"It's in the contact information." Oh no, she should have cross-checked the paperwork with the current webpages and such, shouldn't she? Things change and what if he had a good reason, this is really awkward...

She really hopes that this won't compromise further interactions. "And yes."

He doesn't seem to be taking it badly at all. It's just been a long time since he heard that name - aside from from his mother's lips, anyway. "It's good to meet you! I did have a quick look over the paper work you sent me but it's been a bit hectic lately. Do you want to grab a coffee and we can head over to the lab? Or up to my office if you'd like to sit down."

She just nods silently, taking the sentence apart and wondering what parts she needs to reply to. She'll get herself a coffee in the meanwhile and then turn around to finally reply. "Let's go."

He's not entirely sure where she'd prefer to take this meeting, but his office, even though it's technically shared, will be more private, so he leads her that way, tea in hand. Besides, his papers are up there, and there's a computer that he knows will be free to access his email as well, both of which will be useful. He might have a smart phone thanks to two of his three jobs but that doesn't mean that he's particularly good at using it. Besides, he weary about going over his data allowance.

"Do you have your work with you?" He asks as he leads the way.
