TEST DRIVE MEME
> The Park. Man, what a nice day out. Why not enjoy it? I'm sure -- shit, yep, there's some echo monsters.
> The Mall. Exactly what it says on the tin! Dodge the hordes of teenage mallrats or take part, whichever suits your tastes.
> Rainy Day. Agh, it's fucking awful out. And is it raining those vermilion things?? Now you've got an Echo to contend with on top of everything else. Find some shelter, quick!

Action!!!! Both are so good and perfect for Zoey!!
She'd opted for the subway because she was already running late for work after her step-father finished yelling at her about the house being a mess when he woke up that morning. He hadn't wanted to hear that it had been because she'd worked a double at the diner after her normal shift at the grocery store... he'd only cared that the dishes hasn't been finished... it never matted that her step-siblings did nothing at home. He'd cuffed her and she'd apologized, escaping the house as quickly as she could. It was the same thing every day for Zoey and the only thing that changed was what they yelled at her about, but now she had to make up for lost time. While there were downsides to the subway, she'd still get to work with a few minutes to spare if there were no hiccups.
There were always hiccups... they just varied and today was no different.
Though she made a point of keeping to herself, there was no missing Diego when he got onto the subway car she was sitting in and she's watching as he misses a step and stumbles. She's watching, but here's no fighting the effects of gravity and the contents of his smoothie to flying and hit home to the sound of her gasp. She sits there, a bit stunned, as the contents begin to soak into her oversized sweater.]
It's okay... I'm fine... It's fine. [She manages a weak reply, wiping her hands against her jeans as a dark blush colors her cheeks.]
