How do they do the voice effects?

Some kind of processing software? Sorry, I don't really remember the jargon. Sometimes I've got to have a little mic on me, since there's this more subtle effect for the audiophiles that happens a lot. And sometimes I've gotta dub everything over again. That happened with the clinic attack.

When there's a scene where they have him forget to not move his lips much I have to have separate takes where I read those lines normally and they splice the sound in. Not very glamorous, but at least I don't need a long period with the makeup/prosthetics department or a lot of CGI.
