If that would've been your guess you might find some more backing on it if you catch him on the nearest corner to the restaurant before one shift, in uniform, nametag and all, passing his attention between smoking a cigarette in one hand, adjusting-slash-positioning a bright blue rose in his shirt pocket with the other, and turning to - subtly - look over his profile in reflection on the nearest window as he does both.]

[There seems to be a power outage in this part of town tonight - and it came on while you were in the subway, ticket purchased, underground and waiting by the platform. The lights went down, information was passed, and there'll be shuttles out once the train manages to make it here to drop off whoever need be dropped off.
