Anything new...

Well, You Were A Kindness by The National applies to some of his CR - Aaron in particular. That sense of betrayal, and kind of falling apart but not wanting to show it, and being unwilling to get that close to anyone else again.

There's a general theme of trying to be or at least seem optimistic despite... things... but man I'm still not so good at finding these things.
