A last round of the CR/Plotting Meme for Season 1 - gear up further for the finale and/or breather and/or entrance into Season 2! And, of course, no end of more general purposes.

As always, the meme's open for making arrangements with and between not only current but potential characters in StE; there will be a header under which to comment with potential characters - when doing so, please label with characters' reincarnated names (if decided!) and pre-incarnated names and canons in the comments' subject lines.

Character: Mai Tokiha
Pre-Incarnation: Incredibly generic magical girl anime lead protagonist who starts off the show thinking she's in a magical school girl anime and ends up in a battle royale

ON THE BRIGHT SIDE in Locke she isn't getting dragged into any HiME bullshit. She's actually going to be a long-term sub for a senior year Lit class at LCHS, who has three different side jobs waitressing (three times a week), life guarding at a community center (weekend mornings) and cleaning up at a senior center (Thursday nights). Her dad works at Locke University, which she graduated from two years ago with high honors.

She has a little brother with a genetic heart condition and really and honest to god just wanted to be normal. She's super friendly, though! Outgoing and high-energy most of the time (though she does like her quiet, relaxing nights at home after a long week).

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Family (mom/dad/brother), coworkers, dad's colleagues, students, patrons. Mai's all over the city so I'm sure we can work something out with just about anyone.

Open/Wanted CR: Any...thing?

Other Info: First things first, Mai's going to have regained her Elements from the Wise Snake attack, I think, but she's going to do her best to cover up because ahaha, media attention.

INTERESTED TWO-FOLD HERE:

1) Lily. Really, given that teaching job? She probably by all means could have been teaching Lily at some point. Or at least seen her.

2) Natalie. Both of them have that, "lets start off with typical mahou shoujo shenanigans and then wildly veer off into something else" thing going for them to some degree. Mai, with the aforementioned Battle Royale, and Nanoha with "suddenly a mecha anime without the mecha." Plus, even if it's in entirely different ways, both being teachers and in the educational system around similar ages both having gone to LCU... seems like things could sync up pretty well there, maybe!

Mai's probably been teaching there on and off for two years in various departments, so yeah.

Of course by that point she may also know this nerdy bookworm is a superhero, so hahaha. There's that.

As for Natalie, she'll be in her mid-20s. PRECISE age hasn't been nailed down yet as I have to hit her incoming castmate to coordinate some precise little details here and there. But mid-20s-ish.

HA HA, awesome. Yeah, I need to figure out exactly how first echoes are going to get to roll in the new season, or for new people that saw Wise Snake.

'Cause Natalie's got a lot of layers to work through before she gets any power. ... Which I suppose I should poke someone about.

That's why I talked to a mod. Mai doesn't get anything cool without her Elements, you know? (She was working in the business district when the snake attacked so)

Will definitely be working on that... soon. How convoluted or not her power regains will be kind of depends on the foot she starts off on. :'D

BUT YES, I like this idea. And it'll give Natalie another initial grounding besides the Fate I'm also getting which will definitely help with getting into the swing of things~
