I'm completely sure that they wouldn't be interested in me that way! I would explain my reasons, but I think that I may risk outing myself. Still, I do appreciate the encouragement.

You would be surprised at what people are interested in. Really, even if you don't end up going for it, you should at least tell them how you feel. Maybe you'll be surprised!

Please believe me, I won't possibly! I would not want to put them off, and they have already said that we are friends, which I am grateful for. I appreciate the encouragement again, though!
