Marina remains basically the perfect teenage girl, for all the pros and cons that entails. Which is great, and continues to be. Given the opposites they are, it's almost surprising how good a friend Lily's come to consider her, but that is also great and with things coming up, this should only get more entertaining. Especially now that Marina looks to have had a dose of reality and peril dropped on her. Among... well, other obvious things.

It's funny because it's not like Lily and Anais are immensely different or anything, she just met Lily under very different circumstances, and now Lily's one of her closest friends.

Of course this is just going to get better and more complicated.

Marina comes through as rational and intelligent while still being believable as a teenager; she was really helpful in the talk about religion and I really hope to play with her more.

She's a smart girl even if she doesn't really think it of herself - a lot of her religious knowledge is Sunday school memorization, but she has opinions on it unlike a lot of teenagers, even if they're still a bit teenagery.

I came here to say something similar to what Ken began with! I love what a rather natural and normal-seeming teenage girl Marina is - and it's a delight seeing her about!

Marina really amuses me in a lot of ways - she is exactly what I envision a normal girl would be doing in this situation, whereas Winter is... almost exactly not. That creates a fun contrast, when one is rolling with the punches and the other is freaking out. But it creates so many fun opportunities and I value the way Marina is shaping up quite a bit. She's amazing and I will happily continue to watch the shenanigans.
