How'd it be if your deadbeat father, school-age daughter, or ex-lover turned up on the network?

Come on in and use this meme to list notable friends, relatives, acquaintances, etc. of your characters or characters who you plan on bringing in who are available to turn out to be fellow reincarnates! Give basic necessary descriptions and information of the people in question (so, say, your character from a strict household doesn't wind up getting a mother who is by nature as impossibly laid-back as they come!) and plan as you like with others!

SO. I'm still putting together the AU history for the character I'm apping, but I'm thinking of putting her in military academy. Would that be enough to work off of?

What did Sandy usually do in the Brooklyn area? I can say that he and his father went on a business trip in the area, and maybe he and Sandy met there during that time? They could have kept in touch after that.

He would've had a pretty steady summer/after school job somewhere to build his resume and earn spending money, but he also went to school to be an accountant so that's a whole other set of possibilities, mostly along the lines of Pops meeting someone on campus or Sandy out on a club- or class-related activity.

Ehehe, in which sense of the phrase? If she's in the same age range as Jack and it was the highschool equivalence type, absolutely, let's do it! If the other kind... well, Jack never went on to be an officer. He did have a bunch of advanced training though, so maybe there would have been some potential interaction around the base or something too? Just throwing a few more ideas out there!

Sandy was in college from fall '01 to spring '05, age 18-22, although I can stretch it into '06 on the basis of slacking off if necessary.

Erk, need to do more research! I was looking at the academy in West Point, New York (just as reference).

My character's pretty young, so them meeting on base or something would probably make more sense!

Haha, no I feel you on the research. The amount of time I spent getting lost in the military-related pages of wikipedia was unreal, and I'm still paranoid about making some kind of dumb mistake.

Jack was likely back at the base a couple of years ago on leave... and about a year ago he would have been around during his arm-related rehab, too. Even within the past year or so we could probably do something, since I figure Jack kept visiting the base now and then to catch up with buddies.

SHIRO has a pretty small family, I'm afraid :C His father and mother are both pretty well to do and I left them vague! They are, however, Japanese immigrants SO there's that. Shiro's twin brother I am calling off limits since I'm sort of holding out for an Ichigo and I'd like to leave that spot open JUST IN CASE... But Shiro does have an older sister that taught him to cook!! AND THAT"S LITERALLY HER ONLY PERSONALITY TRAIT.

He also has a cat named Soba YEP.

Once upon a time, a Japanese teenager who was the reincarnation of an alien princess destined to rule the world and have a fulfilling life as a fighter and ruler...got reincarnated. As an American teenager who married a soft drink magnate and is currently a bored, unfulfilled, twenty-something trophy wife.

Phoebe Bendis - which is completely not symbolic like Usagi Tsukino was - recently moved with her husband into a nice posh boring rich person condo in Locke City. This is because her husband wants to build a factory in Dead District and make all the jobs and all the money ha ha ha good luck there. Meanwhile Phoebe does boring rich people stuff and stars in her husband's cola commercials here and there. When her older husband lets her. Also she's got stepkids as old/older than her because she's like the third wife of this soda jerk.

Cousins, stepkids, parents, pets, workers, servants, boring rich people friends, fans of her few commercials, or even her husband - she's got plenty of potential connections for all to share in on. Woo. Come at me.

So, I'm in the process of working on an app for Tony here.

His AU backstory is that his late father was a groundbreaking musician who died in a car accident when he was 8 or so, and his mother is an emotionally and mentally fragile actress who isolated him from the general public for as long as possible (avoided taking him out because of paparazzi etc.) and enrolled him in a high-level private academy, St. Something-or-Other (undecided).

He's mostly a Euromutt, despite his last name being Asuka, but he probably has some Japanese in him back three generations or so. I would prefer his mother to be an NPC because she's an Expy of his canon mother and family is a big deal for him.

What I would love...

Stepsiblings or cousins that he either does or doesn't know about, more likely from his father. Tony is around 17 years old, I'm 100% open to older or younger stepsiblings. Cousins are a completely open playing field. He'd also totally include cousins or stepsiblings in his clique.

Extended family/family friends are something I'd love to be a big part of his life, since I like the idea of him having been isolated from the general public but having a social circle that was loving but similarly isolated and weird. These could be people around his age, older, whatever! His mother is relatively young and pretty so I'd also be open to guys trying to court her that Tony could hate on.

Classmates at the academy. I have concrete plans with a fellow
apper for him to be friends with, but I'd love for him to have a little clique of characters who are similarly intelligent, athletic, and arrogant. I'd also love other kids on the lacrosse, basketball, or track teams. All of which he's on.
