Most of Sandy's family is pretty firmly settled in and around New York City, but I haven't finalized which of his siblings (two sisters and a brother, all older than him but actual ages undetermined) has kids past "he has some nieces and nephews" so there's room for someone to move down here following a divorce or what have you. He also has an unknown number of cousins and other relatives of all ages, some biological relatives he knows absolutely zilch about (because he's always been satisfied with his adopted family), and a fair assortment of old buddies and exes (mostly but not exclusively women).
