Rakka's definitely on track to becoming Raye's "Mako" here in this life, which is a good thing because she's going to need that. She sympathizes a lot with Rakka's situation with her parents, and gets where she's coming from... because she largely feels the same way. Like she's always been the unwanted one while her sister is growing up with a much better relationship with their remaining parent. Raye just chose a much different way to cope with it.
Right now, she kinda feels like she needs to look after her and maybe try to nudge her toward believing in herself a little already. And she's gonna need somebody around to pull her back when Things Go Bad.
