She's up to her neck in magic and monsters and fallen angels and what have you, and just getting a chance to do a perfectly ordinary slumber party while watching bloody movies and playing truth or dare was a huge relief that she didn't realize she even needed. Granted, there were fairies at the party, but the atmosphere was still largely unchanged. Despite being a magical girl herself, Harper is one of Marisa's anchors to the real world, if that makes any sense. Like, if Marisa needed advice about BOYS (for some reason), Harper would probably be one of the people she would consider going to.
