Marisa is very curious about Marina's echoes. She hasn't really TALKED to her about them because I can't keep track of all the posts at the game all the time of reasons, but she's at least been paying attention to them. (The initial echo of "Falling from a great height" caught her interest.)

Outside of weird echo shit, Marina is One Of The Girls, and hence pretty cool. They went to a slumber party together, and Marina knows her name. That means Marina is her FRIEND and therefore a valid target to borrow shit from.

I'm so sorry.

Ultimately Marina just got saved from the fall from a giant magical flying fish summon... which she might think is neat?

Anyways expect her to protest borrowing possibly with magic possibly with empty threats with her sword.

Okay that's not all. Marisa thinks the conspiracy theories are signs of a diseased mind (yes, even with everything that has happened), but that they're also funny so she'll roll with it. Like with most people, she thinks he should learn to pull the stick out of his ass and relax a bit. YES things are kind of dire with the Network sometimes, but she's never really lost her cool where anyone was watching. Danny, on the other hand, has never FOUND his cool in the first place.

TL;DR Marisa thinks she is cooler than Danny. He's useful to have around though.

Emil hasn't...honestly left much of an impression on Marisa? She felt bad about hitting him with the fire extinguisher, really. She thinks that he and Russel both have terrible taste in hats. But then so did canon!Marisa, if she's being scrupulously honest with herself (which she never is.).

They haven't spoken much yet. That said she is going to have little fantasies floating through her head of herself as a badass arms dealer selling fancy guns to various shady parties while smoking cigars and drinking expensive drinks thanks to Stupid here.

Touhou and Nasuverse are VERY different canons. For one thing, people don't really DIE in touhou (sometimes not even when they are killed!). Thus intense interaction can only lead to awesome.

Normal teenager things. She goes to parties. She goes shopping. She shows up unannounced at her friends' houses. She has been known to show off at parties by flying.

She's oddly academic, though. She spends a LOT of time doing homework and studying. These days she spends more time studying magic than she does studying for school.

He's depressing and wasn't noticed at all in HS, so he's been resigned to die alone in a shoddy apartment most of his life.

Poor poor Anthony. Marisa really wants to help him, but she's not having a lot of luck developing a spell that can do it (healing is definitely not her strong suit.). She's honestly a little be disturbed at how much Anthony just seems OKAY with his condition. Overall though, she finds him difficult to really relate to, and if Anthony wasn't falling apart she probably wouldn't really talk to him that much. Is she a little bit condescending to him? Probably. Is she working so hard on helping him just to make herself feel better? Almost certainly. Either way, even if her motives aren't 100% clean as the driven snow she's still working for a good cause.

Marisa like Tessa. There's so many people around the network who have this kind of prickly, distrustful, self aware attitude that make them kind of a drag to talk to that having a friend who is a dorky goth who writes poetry is a breath of fresh air. Plus her echoes are all delightfully weird. Aliens that look like giant organs? Piles of holy water? What the hell?

Marisa finds Harper to be cool, but also staggeringly normal. In a good way. No really.

She's up to her neck in magic and monsters and fallen angels and what have you, and just getting a chance to do a perfectly ordinary slumber party while watching bloody movies and playing truth or dare was a huge relief that she didn't realize she even needed. Granted, there were fairies at the party, but the atmosphere was still largely unchanged. Despite being a magical girl herself, Harper is one of Marisa's anchors to the real world, if that makes any sense. Like, if Marisa needed advice about BOYS (for some reason), Harper would probably be one of the people she would consider going to.
