Let's pass away some of the rest of the month's quiet.

As always, the meme's open for making arrangements with and between not only current but potential characters in StE; there will be a header under which to comment with potential characters. If you have an app in that has not been processed, please, don't be shy about commenting around for prospective CR and plans on entry - though, of course, remember that plans will be tentative!

Character: Megan Gwynn
Pre-Incarnation: Megan Gwynn/Pixie
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Occupation/Position: High school student!

Megan's past self was a cheerful, somewhat innocent pink mutant girl with dragonfly wings that produce hallucinogenic fairy dust, and who is generally missing pieces of her soul thanks to weird Marvel demon magic. She also may or may not actually be part fay - Marvel's weird okay.

Her current self is still cheerful, chattery, and incredibly upbeat - but far less naive, and also without her dark side because she has all of her soul. She's also a lot more shallow and somewhat less accepting. Her stepdad is going to be the manager of one of the casino hotels - haven't figured out which one yet! She's only actually been in Vegas for a year or two, ever since her mom married her stepdad - before that, she lived in Wales.

She's still kind of in awe over Vegas and living in a hotel and everything is shiny except Numbers people are weird and murders aren't cool.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Anyone from the UK, anyone in Vegas, anyone coming to stay at one of the hotels, other students at whatever school she's going to go to! Also her family is wide open if anyone wants a sister/cousin/niece/daughter!

Open/Wanted CR: FAMILY I'd love some kind of pre-network connections! Or friends for that, as well. Also she may not be as naive as her past self, but I'd still love people looking to take advantage of her or manipulate her in some way, especially now that she has money and has no idea what to do with it - or once she starts developing the ability to basically mass produce hallucinogenics. And also anyone who doesn't look human, to freak her out initially and then force her on the path to joining the not-human club.

Haunts: Las Vegas strip, the hotel her stepdad manages, her high school, coffee shops and malls in Las Vegas, etc

Location: Las Vegas
Occupation/Position: Illusionist with his own show at the Flamingo Hotel; opens for a burlesque act

Tragic, violent, secretly-squishy troll reincarnated as a neurotic, excitable, creepy Vegas magician.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Vegas contacts, including fellow performers, hotel concierges, hotel staff, restaurant staff, talent scouts, random locals, anyone! Also, he grew up in Boston and lived there off and on until he was 26, so anyone from Boston, hello! He was an only child, so no siblings, but I'd be open to aunts, uncles, cousins and so forth.

Also, anyone who might have been in juvenile detention with him in Boston 12 years ago. It's a part of his past he does not talk about, so that could be wonderful and horrible.

Open/Wanted CR: Alex is still pretty new, so I'm open to anything, but in general:

- genuinely good, kind people who are variously willing to break through his awful shell and/or knock him in the head with the fist of tough love.
- cute kids for him to hate!!!! but secretly and unwillingly melt over.
- snarky, smart-alec kids for him to.... hate.
- other people in the entertainment/hotel industry.
- other Vegas locals/visitors
- women for him to hit on (note that while he's sleazy and creepy, he's not a stalker or the least bit physically aggressive, and definitely takes no for an answer)

Haunts: He is at the Flamingo every night, and also does a Sunday matinee. Otherwise he's out hustling, pimping his show to hotel concierges, and occasionally sneaking into hotel pools and trying to chat up rich ladies and talk them into buying him pineapple drinks. He works out religiously, so you might find him at the local gym as well.

Potential Subjects of Interest: He's interested in magic, performing artists, and really anything related to Vegas. He is also still disturbed and upset by Angeline's murder.

Other Info: He's gonna, uh, encounter a vermini-infested animal and won't that be fun.

Anything Else?: It's not springtime without blowing sakura petals.

Pre-Incarnation: Pyralis, son of Midas, trope aware kid in Ancient Greece with the power to turn things into gold 50% of the time. It's not as fun as it sounds.

Occupation/Position: Student/guitarist

Pierce is a guitarist for a local teen band (where he's the only clear standout), as well as a suspected/known pot-head and was held back a year in school (so though he's 18, he's finishing his junior year).

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: His family is open if someone would want that, otherwise people from school or even bandmates!

Open/Wanted CR: ANYTHING! Pierce needs to get more involved with the network, and it'll help if he's got connections to care about it.

Haunts: School, any club/venue that will let his band play, music stores, probably the arcade as well.
Potential Subjects of Interest: Music, mostly. And how much school sucks. And music.

Other Info: Pierce is actually a total pushover, so if you want someone to just drag around to do crazy shit, he's your man.

Pre-Incarnation: Emo kid of the same name who spent three weeks being dead and learned the power of ~FRIENDSHIP~

Occupation/Position: Student/artist

Neku is a pretty quiet kid, and though he's usually not as asshole he certainly is pretty deadpan. He will be the straight man to any crazy antics, though he is still a teenager capable of some really stupid decisions. He is into art like no other.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Maybe family? People from school, especially those on the track team or in the art club.

Open/Wanted CR: ANYTHING. Seriously Neku really needs people to talk to.

Haunts: School, anywhere he can legally graffiti
Potential Subjects of Interest: Art, art, art, art... also school and track, and he's generally pretty aware of plot things.

Character: Phillip Santorini
Pre-Incarnation: Pharos, small creepy child that is the embodiment of the thirteenth arcana, aka Death. He's kind of supposed to end the world.
Location: Locke
Occupation/Position: Student

Phillip is a cute fifth grader who wants to be friends with everyone ever. He likes his dog, acting, and... friendship. Yes.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: His sister would be awesome to have. People who'd know him from theater or school are good too.

Open/Wanted CR: Anything! Would love some sibling figures, and possibly even some negative CR...

Haunts: School, the park, the community theater, just around everywhere when walking his dog.
Potential Subjects of Interest: Dogs, theater, friendship... Phillip is very easy to come up with conversation topics.

Other Info: Phillip has recently been hiding the fact that he's actually really upset about who/what his past self was, and he's basically turned 'i don't have to go with fate' into his mantra. So if anyone would like to argue with that, it's the only way I know of to really piss him off. :|b

Pre-Incarnation: Vampire hunter. And by this I mean a vampire who is a hunter. She kind of hates it.
Location: Locke
Occupation/Position: Police officer

Melissa is no-nonsense while on the job, but she's a huge flirt and enjoys going out on the town to have a good time. She's been really goddamn cranky for the past month though thanks to Karl being stupid.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Melissa has several siblings (but there are a couple of people to check with before any family relationships happen), and she can know people from either the force, the gym, or the local nightlife.

Open/Wanted CR: Anything is good with me. Anyone who wants her as the worst role model ever would be hilarious.

Haunts: The station, the gym, bars, clubs.
Potential Subjects of Interest: Right now it's hard to get Melissa to strike up conversations on the network, but talk of cops will do it. Also talking about people she cares about, or just... being stupid. Sometimes she'll reply to that.

Other Info: Melissa is a modded cop, which means less now but still. She is Robyn's aunt (bwuhahaha), and seriously. Worst role model ever. Please someone try and learn from her it'll be awful.

Pre-Incarnation: AQUAMAN, KING OF THE SEVEN SEAS
Location: Locke City, NJ
Occupation/Position: Middle school bus driver.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Most of his family is back in Texas, but finding someone he used to work with when he was a cruise ship entertainer or a stuntman (or trucker or veternary assistant or he had a lot of jobs befor this one okay) would be pretty awesome!

Open/Wanted CR: Arthur is here to bring outrageousness into the hearts and minds of those who need it. He is a shining beacon of OUTRAGEOUS, basically. And anyone who has water-related anything? He's there. So there.

Haunts: He's the weirdo who talks to all the fish in the pet stores, got himself banned from the ocean park, and is somehow still allowed at the aquarium. There's also some bar somewhere that thinks of him as "that weirdo who brought the ferret in that one time."
Potential Subjects of Interest: LET HIM TELL YOU ABOUT THE OCEAN no really, he will not shut up about it if you're not careful. He can also deliver interesting and ridiculous discourse on Terrible Decisions You Can Make While Drunk. ~~Ask him about his tattoo.~~

Other Info: So he was planning on taking an OUTRAGEOUS ROAD TRIP to Vegas in the RV he echoed back, and I don't really have too much going for him in the way of super-solid plans.

Character: Hajime Aikawa
Pre-Incarnation: also Hajime Aikawa, AKA Kamen Rider Chalice
Location: Locke City, NJ
Occupation/Position: Restaurant manager by day, Lord of the Bugmen by...whenever the Lord of the Bugmen is needed.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Pre-existing CR-wise, Hajime's got a large extended family, many of whom work at his family's restaurant. He's also cousin to Jackson Isaka. He's got a 20 year old sister who's three years younger than he is, and he's bad about being horribly intimidating to her boyfriends. Knowing him through the restaurant somehow is the easiest bet; there's always room for one more regular customer who knows that ordering California rolls is one of the best ways to tick Hajime off.

Open/Wanted CR: Other monster people to ~~make terrible decisions with~~ hang out with are cool, as are people who might bug him about being a bug. Food snobs would also be hilarious to play off of, too.

Haunts: He pretty much lives at Aikawa's, his family's restaurant in Japantown, although now that he doesn't need to sleep much, he may actually take up a few hobbies again.
Potential Subjects of Interest: Japanese food, the restaurant business, weird playing cards, weird blood colors, giant bugs, monsters in general, motorcycles.

Other Info: So his cousin is stuck as a birdmonster and they have been out seen doing things like going to Denny's as full horrible giant monsters, someone please give him a hard time about this.

Character: ~~Tater~~ Torin the Parrot
Pre-Incarnation: Paragon Supreme Torin
Location: Locke City, NJ
Occupation/Position: Escaped zoo animal turned "entertainer" at a coffee shop. (You come talk to the talking bird, that's entertainment, right?)

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: There aren't too many opportunities for pregame CR with Torin; he's a parrot who escaped from the zoo. (That said, if you're apping a zookeeper or another zoo animal of some sort…)

Open/Wanted CR: He is a very friendly parrot and will talk to everyone. And then he will mentor at you. He will also fuss over anyone who is growing birdlike features, because he knows this.

Haunts: So he's been hanging around Espresso Yourself and getting paid to talk to people this is the best and also rides public transportation from time to time. At least now he has a means to pay for it and a way to carry the money?
Potential Subjects of Interest: He really, really likes dinosaurs, like a lot. A lot a lot.

Other Info: So he's gotten back his swordfighting skills and now that he has a job, I'm about to handwave his having ordered one of those sword letter opener things so he can practice. He will then be offering lessons! Sword lessons, from a ten-inch-tall bird.

Character: Eugen Lambert
Pre-Incarnation: Tieria Erde
Location: Locke City, NJ
Occupation/Position: RA/Tutor, Mechanical Engineering Dept, LCU. (Also on the Mecha R&D Team.)

One of the Gundam pilots who's currently under the FBI's wing, he also looks nothing like his age, has very purple hair and red eyes so he's easy to spot out of a crowd. These days, he usually tie his up in a loose ponytail and hide it under a baseball cap or hoodie. Unlike his canon counterpart, his reaction to stranger ranges from friendly to skeptical, depending on how people behaves toward him.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Extended family, colleagues/research buddies, mentors/students (he tutors for a fee, so non-LCU students are cool too), ex-es, friends.

Open/Wanted CR: I'm usually game for anything. It'll be great if he could have a mentor figure he could open up to/guide him and more friends that could get him out and about. Romance interest can be fun too, breaks his momentum a little since he's too submerged into research now.

Haunts: LCU Mechanical Engineering Dept, libraries, hardware stores, Dylandy's bar (only place he won't get carded, gdi!), bakeries (cheap breads!), cafes, parks and sometimes pet shop, local gym.

Potential Subjects of Interest: Giant robots, mechanical stuff in general, animals, books, free food, anything he hasn't heard of/known of which can be anything really, as long as it catches his interest.

Other Info: Right now, he's pretty much grounded to Locke City because of the Gundams so travelling out of the city isn't possible.

Anything Else?: I'll like him to learn self-defense somewhere down the line because he's looking to strengthen himself in order to become better suited to pilot (those Gs are a pain to handle). Right now, he has gun lessons from Neil and is a member of the local gym, so he's working toward getting into better form before starting anything more strenuous.

Character: Abby Perkins
Pre-Incarnation: Anna of Arendelle
Location: Locke City, NJ
Occupation/Position: Local high school student

Once upon a time there were two sisters that got along really well until one day the sister accidentally makes a headshot for her sister. Of course, this freaks her out and puts both sisters into isolation for a good portion of their lives. One day, when they do open the castle, said older sister accidentally outed her powers and then everything went down hill.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: I'm really up for anything! Family, friends, etc, you name it!

Open/Wanted CR: I'm good with anything! GIVE ME ALL THE CR EVER! Abby is a really friendly girl and will do a lot to help other people out! I want friendly CR, I want horrible CR, I want a few enemies, all those fun stuff!

Haunts: Locke City High, the chorus club, sometimes hangs out at the cafes, malls, and so on!

Potential Subjects of Interest: Ice magic, anything magical related as a whole, music, whatever is on the media, bright colors, optimistism!11!!

Other Info: Nope, I don't have any real plans for her right now. She's just chilling around the city and is too busy with her finals!

She does have a little club she started with Nora with the intention of bringing happiness to all of Locke City and Las Vegas but that's still a WIP.

Anything Else?: Nope!

Character: Nat Sherman
Pre-Incarnation: Naoto Shirogane, teenage detective and Persona-user.
Location: Locke City, NJ, but she's likely to head for Vegas once classes end for the summer.
Occupation/Position: Honors student at LCHS finishing up her junior year. Skipped tenth grade and another somewhere back in elementary school. Knows she wants to be a detective, it's just a matter of getting there.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Her family is bbbbbasically sewn up, so that's out. Her mother is second-generation Japanese-American and tries to keep a link open for Nat to that side of her background and identity, so Nat goes to a lot of cultural events in Japantown?? Members of the police or other LCHS students might know her, or know of her.

Open/Wanted CR: Nerds. Detectives. Monster-summoners. Henshin heroes. Gimme anything, gimme everything.

Haunts: LCHS, obviously. Bookstores, libraries, hobby and comic shops. Hardware stores. The mall. Craft stores.
Potential Subjects of Interest: Detective work, investigations, that whole shebang. Robots. Robots. Superheroes. ~~Also old school shoujo tbh~~.

Other Info: She's not outright hostile to people but she's pretty disconnected and closed off. Keep 'em at arm's length. Matt is one of the few exceptions so far, because he's family. Aaaand she recently echoed back her Persona! And none of her castmates are actually from her game, so that's been confusing for her.

Character: Randall Lyall
Pre-Incarnation: Randolph Lyall
Location: Locke City
Occupation/Position: Biology teacher at Locke High

Genteel sort of werewolf with a good nose and very little ability to fight, even as a wolf. He's got a British accent (when he's not at school and trying his damndest to hide it) and tends to disappear for a couple days around the full moon. A bit introverted, but generally fairly involved in events and always protective of the littler ones. Also happens to be kind of quietly dating Nick Burkhardt.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: His parents live in Iowa, and so aren't really up for good CR unless somebody wants to play them moving to Locke, but he's been teaching in Locke City for a just about ten years now, so pre-CR with students is an easy one!

Open/Wanted CR: He's kind of lost a chunk of his CR lately, and I'd like to build it back up again. I'm particularly interested in students he can be protective over, but I'll take all kinds.

Haunts: Locke high school. He also tends to take evening walks around his neighborhood, and often spends weekend nights out running around in wolf form in alleys and parks. Sometimes this is with Nick, sometimes not.

Potential Subjects of Interest: Werewolves and vampires. Especially werewolves. The police had it in for him for a while, so that'll catch his attention. He's curious about the aliens as well, so anyone who's had contact with them will probably get him interested, too.

Other Info: No real plans right now. He might go sniff around the Thunder corp building where the aliens are housed, but that's pretty vague.

Anything Else?: I wanna widen my CR pool a bit, cuz I'm feeling stagnant :| If anybody has any interesting ideas, I'm probably gonna be open to just about anything. I'm really shy of super-huge posts, though, which tends to be a detriment in this game... I'm working on it ^^'

Character: Cain Hashimoto
Pre-Incarnation: Enter, inhuman evil AI made by another AI out of the data of a bunch of dead people, who doubled as a snake-themed evil Power Ranger, giant robot pilot and general Sentai villain.
Location: Locke City, NJ
Occupation/Position: Freelance programmer/techie

Functional-alcoholic dickbag from Montreal who speaks like a street rat by default in French and massively overcompensates in English because he came here to advance his career. Cares a lot about appearances while regularly making it clear he's a ridiculous human being and undercutting his whole presentation.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Family's not really open, but I GUESS if you wanted to be a cousin or something we could try working something out. He worked at Prometheus until the building was destroyed, and graduated from LCU with a degree in computer science a few years ago. Worked tech support there until last year. He's an embarrassing fan of EDM and the like, and hops clubs in his spare time. Lives in Japantown.

Open/Wanted CR: Henshin heroes, superheroes in general, magical girls, people to call him on his shit, people who were bad in their past lives but now aren't so much. Other Canadians or Francophones.

Haunts: Coffee shops, pet supply stores, Japantown, bars, etc. He gets out a lot.
Potential Subjects of Interest: Programming, robotics, technology. Alternative energy and artificial intelligence.

Other Info: He's been getting back powers without a lot of memories or mental changes. I hope to soon change that. As it stands, the power alone is starting to get to his head.

Character: Jackson Isaka
Pre-Incarnation: Isaka / Peacock Undead
Location: Locke City, NJ
Occupation/Position: Stockbroker, who is currently using up a lot of vacation time due to Echo Problems. He is not particularly enjoying his new job as High King of the Avians (long story).

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Jack is part of the same extended family that Hajime Aikawa belongs to, with cousins and aunts and uncles scattered all over Locke City and possibly elsewhere. His parents are currently down in a retirement community in Florida. Co-workers at the brokerage and college friends are certainly a possibility.

Open/Wanted CR: CR with other adult-type characters would be awesome. As would CR with other people turning into weird things, and maybe those who might encourage him towards using these new fighting instincts that he's picked up. I am also open to wild suggestions out of the blue!

Haunts: There was a big blue-black birdman spotted eating at a local Denny's not long ago... Other than that, when he was still human (and when he gets back to being human) he's known to take public transit, and make occasional visits to Aikawa's, a restaurant in Japantown.

Potential Subjects of Interest: He's a closet Galaxy Quest fan, he plays golf but he doesn't really like golf all that much, he's been into researching birds these days, and he's become interested in knowing more about psychic powers (since he seems to be echoing some back).

Other Info: I'm hoping to get Jack finally able to change himself into a human, so he should be spending less time cooped up inside and just heckling people on the network. Until then, though, I am open to more silly situations of him getting cabin fever and being spotted out and about in his seven foot tall monster form.

Anything Else?: I recently did up a permissions post for Jack, as he echoed back the first bit of his mind control powers. It's a pretty touchy thing, so if you'd like to comment there to let me know to keep him away/keep those powers unused around your characters, that would be awesome.

Character: Rachel Roth
Pre-Incarnation: Raven, teenage half-demon superhero and witch living in a giant letter T in what Totally Isn't San Francisco You Guys, No Really.
Location: Locke City, NJ
Occupation/Position: Horror and dark fantasy writer from New York.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Grew up in Queens, went to Stuyvesant High School, spent most of her time trolling around Manhattan and Greenwich Village, got her bachelor's at Cornell. She's been living in Locke full-time since she graduated. Other writers or people involved in publishing, or people who might be familiar with her work.

Open/Wanted CR: I really want more people to bring her out of her shell, especially with some of the echoes she's gotten recently and the fallout that brought. Other magic users or psychics, past-life superheroes, demonic-linked characters, you name it. Other healers would be good too, she has some magic that works there but

Haunts: Haaaahahahaha she isn't really leaving her house a lot these days, but I'm flexible. Talk to me if you've got ideas.
Potential Subjects of Interest: Mythology, books, Greek and Latin language stuff, her home city, musicals, morbid and macabre things. Superheroing.

Other Info: Well, she's got grey skin and purple hair now, so that's not something you see every day.

Character: Anais Temple
Pre-Incarnation: Fuu Hououji
Location: Locke
Occupation/Position: High school junior, babysitter, clinic volunteer

Anais is a junior getting ready for her final year of high school. She spends most of her weekday afternoons babysitting (she recently quit track due to problems with the other girls), and most of her nights volunteering at the clinic or at home with mom and boyfriend. She can be very closed off but is getting way better at being friendly.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Her mom is 5ever NPC because reasons, but Anais has a dad (who is a teacher) and an older sister (who is in college) who live separated from her. She lives in an apartment complex and is involved in band at school! Anything with that would be good.

Open/Wanted CR: ANAIS NEEDS FRIENDS ;A;

Haunts: The clinic, the school, various cafes??? Wherever.
Potential Subjects of Interest: The care of birdgods, knights who are magical, MOVIES LET'S TALK ABOUT MOVIES.

Other Info: Anais has a giant bird who lives on her roof, and she's very protective of her mom.

Location: Locke City, NJ
Occupation/Position: Unemployed, currently volunteering with the remaining Wise Snake cleanup efforts, and searching for work.

Rosa is a bright and optimistic young woman with energy and enthusiasm that sometimes outstrips her overall competence at things. She came to Locke City after seeing other family members on the news, got an echo as her plane landed, and now isn't going anywhere because this is really cool. She'll wait a little longer to head to college, get a job, and just immerse herself in this awesome adventure that she has stumbled into.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Most of her family is in Texas or Florida, and she just moved to Locke City, so there may not be terribly many of these... maybe she had online friends? Pen pals? Met someone at summer camp?

Open/Wanted CR: I'd love to get Rosa tangled up in any kind of silly teenaged antics that might be going on, and I'm hoping to find her some kind of work, possibly at a PCs business. CR with other characters from fantasy-style worlds or places with magic would be awesome! (CR with folk from other Final Fantasy games would be double awesome? :D )

Haunts: Rosa can often be found in the company of her Uncle Arthur and her great-grandmother Curry, helping with errands or shenanigans or whatever. She's been beating feet in coffee shops and clothing stores and other minimum wage sorts of places handing out resumes, and she likes coffee shops with open mic nights so that's a thing, too?

Potential Subjects of Interest: Rosa was huge on drama club back in high school (even though she's an awful actress), and loves writing.

Other Info: While I do plan on Rosa eventually echoing back memories of her Magical Moon Boyfriend from canon (and being kind of dippy about it), I have no particular direction in mind for what she's going to do with that knowledge. Maybe mistake someone for him? Come to terms with the fact that he's not around and move on? I will roll with whatever winds up happening, because it's all interesting.

Maybe Rosa and Kara can run into each other at some little hole in the wall coffee shop and make friends? She's a relentless friendly ray of sunshine, just a bit quieter about it, so it might be neat to see if they hit it off? Hey! They could wind up exploring Locke together? Rosa just got here a bit over a month ago and wants to see everything.

Haunts: Jacuzzi's currently living with the Dians, and though he's going to move out, he's probably going to check back with them at least every other day to help out at the shop. (This is a problem as he needs a real job.) He spends a lot of time at the park just trying to get his thoughts together because people don't talk to him a lot there. He also spends a lot of time in the college library when he's taking classes.

Other Info: Jacuzzi's looking for a job (the post goes up today or tomorrow). He has super severe anxiety so don't tag him if you're not cool with that. He cannot type, either so expect tags full of typos if it's text. He's moving with a girl who is his friend but not his girlfriend even though they are both absurdly attracted to each other! That's all there is to that, so.
