I'm not really sure that that's the normal response to being intimidated, but if it makes you feel better...

I probably feel as uncomfortable about him as you do. I'd rather not think that I'm turning into him, just finding out more about him.

(We found out he's called Glorfindel, by the way. I still prefer Puck. Less of a mouthful).

Oh, it really isn't! But I'm contrary like that. I made my best friend by pretending this creepy scowling guy wasn't scary, and then he wasn't, to me. You, I already know, so as long as I don't get smited it should work.
