Anyway, this is a random scenario test drive meem, since we've had an influx of new potential appers. I am a bit too lazy to make this a proper meem, so you make your own shit up. Here's some inspirational scenarios:

(Crixus takes one step towards Winter with a slight look of annoyance.)

Oi! I'm a he. Not an it. And as for Tina's ability, she seems to have a...How do you put it? 'Green Pinkie' so she makes plants and such grow fast. If you ask me, its' only use is that it attracts a lot of food once in a while.

I can grow a lot of different kinds of flowers too! I can grow red ones, green ones, I even grew a tiny tree once! It was really hard though and I had to take a long nap after I did.

[Is there a tree nearby? Because that's where Winter is immediately going to run and hide, after letting out a small 'eep!' of panic.]

I-I-I'm sorry, I won't d-do it again! A-and I think you mean a "green thumb" for her ability.

[She leans out from behind the tree a little.] T-that sounds kind of neat... um, but should you be using it if it makes you tired?

(Crixus smirks a little and gives a bit of a mocking laugh at seeing the flustered Winter.)

Good. I'll hold you to that.

(Tina runs up and around the tree to look at Winter.)

I use it because it's fun! I like seeing plants grow but they just grow so slow. I don't know how I do it though. I think it's magic! Like from the storybooks! Do you like storybooks too? What's your favorite one?

[Stepping out gingerly from behind the tree, she gives a series of sharp, short nods to Crixus, before turning to the girl and kneeling down to her eye level.]

Magic, huh...? I haven't heard of a power like that before. I like it, though! [Better than some of the other things she's seen power used for.]

I don't read storybooks too often, but... there is... [Winter pauses, a strange feeling coming over her, and her heart racing. A moment later, she seems to start to come back to herself.] ...there is one. It's a story about a prince that works really hard to help other people. But he meets a swallow, and the swallow asks him if he's remembering to help himself. And then the swallow decides to help him not work too hard, and they become very close friends.

I'm making it a little short, but... it's a story I like. I'm probably not telling it very well, though. ['Wait, but... have I read a story like that? Is this...?']

(Eva listens closely to Winter's little story and smiles gently.)

It was short but I liked it. I haven't really read many stories. I tried to go to that place that has all the books. I think it was called the 'liberry'. I only got to read two before Crixus bit the liberryian.

(Crixus shrugs with a look that tells Winter he feels no shame in biting the woman.)

She thought I had rabies and was threatening to put me in the pound. I've been there once. Never again.

[Despite herself, Winter finds herself relaxing a little more, and genuinely smiling at Tina. She has a little bit of a headache, though.]

That sounds like it was... hard to deal with. Um, would it be better for Crixus to wait outside, then? Or... is that a bad idea?

(Crixus just gives Winter a bit of a flat look.)

Tina is young and she is my master. As her companion it is my duty to make sure she is safe. Besides, why should I have to wait outside? I think there is a word for that...'speciesism' or something like that.

I also don't like leaving Crixus alone. There was one time we got separated...I was really scared and lost for a few hours. When I finally found Crixus he looked really sick and in pain. I've never seen him like that before.

[Winter nods.]

I-I understand that. But... not everyone here is used to seeing an animal guarding a person. I think that's why you had a problem at the library. And I d-didn't realize there would be a downside to you being separated. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked.

(Crixus just shrugs a little.)

Relax. Not like you knew. I mean, Tina and I are still trying to figure out what happened that day. That was a weird week in general. It was a day after I first spoke and Tina gained her ability. Hehe, you should have seen some of the faces on the people who saw me that day though. Their panic was priceless.

(Tina looks at the now laughing Crixus for a beat before looking a Winter.)

That is kinda the other reason I try and stay with him.

(Crixus just smirks more at that.)

Okay... t-that's fair enough. I-I'm not sure I'd enjoy seeing the faces of people panicking, though. I think... I'd be panicking, too.

You need to be the one doing the scaring. You humans can make such funny faces when scared and all of them are unique. Try it out sometime and watch. It can be fun to cause a good scare once in a while.

But you do it all the time Crixus.

(Crixus gives a mischievous toothed smile.)

What can I say? I'm just naturally scary.

(Tina smiles a little before looking at Winter a little and leaning closer to whisper.)

Don't worry. Crixus likes to see people jump but he doesn't bite much. He only really bites mean or bad people so you should be fine.

I-I don't want to do the scaring, though. I like not standing out. W-well... not really, but...

[At Tina's comment, though, Winter can't help but giggle a little.]

Okay. I'll remember that.

(Crixus just gives a cocky shrug.)

(Tina giggles a little.)

Crixus, I think your scaring...Oh! I don't know your name! Momma always told me to call people by their name so what's yours? Mine's Tina Hearth. And this is Crixus.

I think she knows our names by this point Tina.

(Tina pouts.)
