[TEST] DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT

I HONESTLY COULDN'T THINK OF A GOOD PICTURE SO THANKS LAVVY
Here, have the slightly more relevant song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_nLlL1mwKI
Anyway, this is a random scenario test drive meem, since we've had an influx of new potential appers. I am a bit too lazy to make this a proper meem, so you make your own shit up. Here's some inspirational scenarios:
> The Mall. The hell are you doing out in the suburbs, bro? And why is that woman trying so hard to sell you nail polish?
> The Park. MAN IT IS A NICE D-- shit is that a Vermicelli or whatever the monsters are called?
> Arts & Crafts Fair. Cute knit cat cozies! Bad pretzels! YEAH.
> Rainy Day. It's wet and you're stuck at the bus stop. HOW DEGRADING.
> You get an echo while someone else is around. SHIT. PARANOIA TIME.
Or make up your own!
Caren | Pichi Pichi Pitch | Kari Acosta
*Kari is wandering the mall with a huge ice cream in her hand, the likes of which she hasn't been able to eat for ages. She's regarding most things with a raised eyebrow or not at all, particularly people double-taking at her -- maybe you recognize her from TV, if you watched a recently televised major beauty pageant, that is.*
[B: Rain|Echo]
*Combining these! Kari huddles into a bus shelter, wide-eyed and staring at the rain. She shivers and pushes her back against the glass.*
I can't get wet here. I can't.
*She just doesn't know why.*
[C: Other]
*Kari's taken you aside into an empty room. She looks at you unimpressed.*
Tell me. Have you ever gotten one of those things... *she looks around to make sure no one's listening* ...and then not been able to leave it alone?
B
"You know the last bus went by here twenty minutes ago, right?"
no subject
"I'm waiting out the rain," she says, taking her composure back instantly. "Like anyone would do."
no subject
She glanced up at the leaden storm clouds overhead. It didn't look like it was going to blow over any time soon.
"Want a ride?"
no subject
"I can't get wet," she says, mostly to herself, as she thinks.
no subject
"What, will you melt or something? C'mon it's only like 5 feet."
no subject
"I have no idea," she confessed, looking away. "Okay, fine. I'm coming over."
Running over quickly will probably prevent melting, or whatever it is.

The interior of the truck is a mess, littered with old receipts, candy bar wrappers, empty soda cans, and even what looks to be half a hotdog sitting on the dashboard. It's frankly kind of gross and doesn't smell great, but at least it's dry.
"So where are you going?"
no subject
"Well, it won't be such a good idea to go around in the rain, so I'd planned to just get back to my house," she explains. "Although it might look strange."
