The All-Purpose CR/Plotting Meme

Shall we see what we could load our guns with prior to and/or for this rash o' hectic business for the Numbered?

The meme is open to, as per always, making arrangements with and between:
- Current characters in game.
AND
- Potential characters - any characters you may have in mind up for app/re-app consideration, who there is a header for under the main post.

If you have an app in that has not been processed, please, don't be shy about commenting around for prospective CR and plans on entry - though, of course, remember that plans will be tentative!

On a relevant note, remember that the third location is opening up soon, set on the Austrian-German borde, opening up another place that can produce newly-awakened reincarnates!

For characters of either status, toss up a comment with your character's reincarnated name, pre-incarnated name, canon, and occupation in the subject line. E.x. Character: Harry Lyre
Pre-Incarnation: Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden
Location: Locke City
Occupation/Position: Journalist

Former wizard private detective and Faerie Court Knight reincarnated as an intrepid who spent a few years in the Middle East. Father of Robyn Lyre, brother of Melissa Lyre and uncle of Yelena Lyre. He's just settling back into life with his daughter after she was sent back to Locke City by his shrill, harpylike, bloodsucking demon ex-wife.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Like mentioned he's part of the Lyre clan so family is... largely spoken for unless somebody else apps into that family. Otherwise family, friends and colleagues are all wide open. In addition, anybody serving overseas might have known him from his time over there.

Open/Wanted CR: All sorts. He's got a kid but I'm always open to him playing dad for anybody else who might need it. Other magic types. People willing to play conscience now and then when his real power starts coming in. Any Numbered who want to get their story out or help with the group's PR in general can also get a hand from him. Also, older folks to grab a beer and grumble about all the superpowered kids and the trouble they get up to these days.

Haunts: All over town. He most likely has a favorite bar or two and he's a conoisseur of fast food joints and late night diners all over town.

Potential Subjects of Interest: The Numbered in general. He's a journalist and will be quite interested in getting the stories of anybody who wants to volunteer them. He'll also want to get the deets on Thunder Corp and any other organization tied to the Numbered and their enemies.

Other Info: Harry's going to be getting a lot of power before fully understanding how to properly wield it and the consequences of misusing it. Still, he's going to do his best to remain a good person and keep things together, both for himself and others.

If another location Echo comes up there may also be a sudden appearance of an island imprisoning horrors from before the time of hope so... there's that to look forward to.

Britany Ruff here is two things: Kind of a friend of Harry's daughter, and a fairly powerful witch (of sorts) in her own right, albeit from a very different world.

Location: Locke City
Occupation/Position: Student/Otherwise Unemployed

Crazy girl. Living school uniform. Fights practically naked. She's pretty cool.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Her family is sort of a complicated mess wrapped up in future plotting so... I'm gonna say that's off-limits. She spent a few years moving around the country so if somebody's coming to Locke from somewhere else we can set up some pre-network CR that way. Positive CR is gonna be difficult given she was an aggressive little shit who got into fights and yelled at people all the time haha, I say "was".

Open/Wanted CR: Things are... fairly well-covered but I'm always okay for seeking out more. She's just been ejected from her home after her Numbered status was discovered so replacement parent figures and the like are a big plus right now. Also, mentor-types to help her steer away from her straight-on aggression and focusing that anger of hers a little better. Also the opposite, if anybody wants to become a target of that anger. Especially anybody mixed up with the mafia or other ganglike activities.

Haunts: Usual teenage dumps. Arcade, music stores, video game stores and the like. Over the next few months you might come across her wandering around at night venting frustration on "acceptable" targets like various d-bags or otherwise just being teenage trash.

Potential Subjects of Interest: Beating up the mafia. Beating up jerks. Fighting. Training. Video games. Gorefest movies. Loud metal music.

Other Info: She's going to be hit hard with some awful stuff coming up, without giving everything away. Plus with the stabilizing factor of caring for her little sister removed, she's going to be much more aimless and even less calm and rational. Expect her to also be on a goddamned crusade against the mob as well, or as much as a dumbass with no plans or plans to plan can.

Anything Else?: There's also Senketsu, her living school uniform aka Kamui. Although normally he can only communicate with Raye he does have access to the network and can speak via text with a little creativity. I'd love to get the chance to explore his character in this very different set of circumstances as well so if anybody's interested in a weird conversation with some clothing, drop me a line there.

Both those things can work. She may have run into Harry if she was there at Robyn's birthday celebration although he was putting in an effort to stay out of everyone's hair.

Different magic systems buuuut... still kind of workable, I guess. We can work this out.

That's good, because she'll likely be eager to learn but a slow at actually picking things up.

Depending on how fast he goes, she might get a speed/agility boost off him. Possibly a strength one as well.

It'd certainly be interesting to compare as the magic develops.

Danielle has mentioned him once or twice to Robyn I believe, so she may actually be a little aware of his fluffy center already. Though she doesn't really know that's he's who the person she was talking about yet.

Robyn doesn't have any spectacular abilities yet aside from the power to "randomly" summon up rose petals and increased running speed. In the future she'll have a defensive aura and super speed in bursts. She'll also have a great big gunscythe sooner or later.

Yeah, he tends to play Danielle music to soothe her and talks to her like an adult and teases her a lot about being a super adorable superhero. But he has been trying to be less of a presence on the network because of his other's gangster self.

If Shou gets himself killed, he'll wake up as a vampire but so far, he just has the top of human skills with a slight speedy recovering thing going on.

Actually, this might be interesting because pre!Harry had a massive grudge against vampires. Seriously, he hated the things.

It would be. TDF's magic system is kind of interesting since it's almost universal. The core of it is basically manipulating energy and you can gather that energy from... pretty much any source. These two might make a sick magic nerd team.
