On a relevant note, remember that the third location is opening up soon, set on the Austrian-German borde, opening up another place that can produce newly-awakened reincarnates!

Xander Jarle / Sandrath | Original

Character: Xander Jarle
Former soldier of the military during 2002 - 2006, was honorably discharged due to the death of his twin brother, Conleth. Did talk to a non-numbered therapist who suggested to record his days on a voice recorder, takes anti-depressants, sleeping pills and occasionally smokes to make it through the day. He moved to Locke in the middle of August with his black Siamese cat, Connor. He's now a grocery store baker, owns a second cat and is presently at war with himself due to his preincarnation's echoes.

Pre-Incarnation: Sandrath
An arch-angel before being corrupted by a substance known as 'demon blood' during several wars. After many years of mentoring another angel and doing nothing, he found a vessel to search the surface for answers, before another angel interfered and made the vessel compensate for two beings instead of one. Along the way, he got some new abilities, became a little bit more crazier before siding with the beings of below. He's a fallen arch-angel now and enjoying his new life in a body of his own, with some interesting opponents springing up from time to time.

Occupation/Position: Grocery store baker

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Extended family (grandfather on dad's side is very religious), old class-mates from elementary to high school (although Xander's family moved about every few years), military relationship with him, his brother or father. Ex-roomates or ex-boyfriends / girlfriends. Regulars that frequent the bakery section or co-workers. Anyone that he might have saved during the Wise Snake or Possessed Car events via the shadows.

Open/Wanted CR: I'm open to any type of CR.
Although, he can be a bit socially awkward at first if it is a friendly conversation since he tends to distance himself from others. He gets better over time, especially now that he's echoed back being more sociable.

Haunts: He usually keeps to the bakery section of his work place or the appropriate aisles if he's out getting ingredients and usually spotted walking everywhere. Most of the time he sticks to staying at his apartment.

Potential Subjects of Interest: Since he knows what he's becoming, he's keeping an eye open for more posts involving angels / demons and supernatural creatures. He tends to keep to himself a lot, so it's hard to say what else may grab his attention aside from posts from his friends.

Other Info: Nothing else to mention aside from him keeping a low profile for the time being.

Anthony Janvier | Anthony | Eternal Darkness | To-Be Incredibly Unlikely Cashier

Pre-Incarnation: Anthony | Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
Location: Locke City, NJ
Occupation/Position: At last took L up on an offer of a job at Espresso Yourself.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: His immediate family consists of only two caring but workaholic parents who've been defaulted to in assumption as having educationally-related professions - neither actively desired (unless-well on the off chance one might be entertaining the idea of apping canonmate Paul Luther in which case I'd be fascinated by the potential to lay most anything out) and likely to have by now dropped patience and declared him runaway. He also has quite a host of relatives French-Catholic in background, including one married aunt and several cousins he was particularly close to when he was small. Agreeable, well-read, and eager-to-please as he is, he was also a bit of a teacher's pet in elementary and much of middle school.

Open/Wanted CR: Absolutely anything that'll stick is a constant! However, at this point he could definitely do with more people who he can securely consider "friends" - encouraging, let's-have-adventures/let's-be-our-normal-except-not-quite-normal-selves-together people or anyone who could (gently or not) give him a boost in getting out of the shell he's working out of. I am also frankly interested in shipping and mutually frictional CR but realize that either would be tricky.

Haunts: He spends over 90% of his time in Nick Burkhardt's apartment - but drops by Espresso Yourself occasionally to say hello.

Other Info: He is an "out" Numbered - he's written a distinctly personal published pro-Numbered letter disclosing his name and zombie-status and was one of Lyall's on-film group. So far it's not been distinct trouble, but alas he doesn't go out particularly enough for a high chance of running into it - any other prompted actions to increase the Numbered's positive visibility or even forthcomingness, for now, he'd encourage and/or show interest in being in on.

More recently-immediately, he's attempting to rally a monster hunt in the catacombs of a spooky church, and is in favor of rescue in the current hostage situation - courtesy of Nick, he'd wish to inform others who are that there'd be a Vermaxi where Robyn is being held!

Lastly, 'tis his date of birth on the seventh - that fact in itself isn't likely coming up ICly (and given how this week's going, he's probably going to be a little mentally banged-up besides for it), but it's likely it'll be used to say he finally acquired a screenreader.

Hajime Aikawa | Kamen Rider Blade | Restaurant Manager

Occupation/Position: Restaurant manager.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: He's got a pretty tight knit immediate family consisting of his mom, dad, and sister, and he's got a huge extended family. Many of his extended family members work in the restaurant, but that doesn't mean everyone there is a relative. He also attended LCU and graduated a couple of years ago.

Open/Wanted CR: Hajime tries to keep tabs on all the other monsterpeople on the network, offering support while simultaneously sitting here in denial of how crappy his own monster problems make him feel. Also, anyone he could get dragged into trouble with is very welcome; dude's too painfully responsible when left to his own devices 99% of the time. (That other one percent, he's riding around on his motorcycle in the snazzy armor transformation he hasn't told too many people about, surely nothing could go wrong.)

Haunts: Most of the time, you can find him hanging around Japantown, particularly Aikawa's, his family's restaurant. He tends to overwork himself in times of stress (and hey, guess what this network stuff has done?), so he's at the restaurant a lot.
Potential Subjects of Interest: Monsters, fighting, motorcycles, discussions of which restaurants are the best because clearly his is the best.

Other Info: He is also the mysterious LORD OF THE BUGMEN, and he kind of wonders how his life has come to this. Whoever heard of a giant cockroach working in a restaurant?

Arthur Curry/Aquaman | Batman: The Brave and the Bold | ex-School Bus Driver

Pre-Incarnation: AQUAMAN, KING OF ATLANTIS
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Occupation/Position: Currently a school bus driver, BUT I'm thinking he was asked not to return for this school year thanks to being not at all quiet about being Numbered.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Arthur has a large extended family back in Texas, was a school bus driver in Locke for a few years, and has a very checkered employment history that's taken him all around the country. He can easily be that guy if someone has ever had any bizarre though ultimately harmless experiences with truck drivers or cruise ship entertainers.

Open/Wanted CR: I'm thinking he'll be looking for a new job pretty soon, so that could make for some interesting CR.

Haunts: At the moment, he's hanging around the flooded area in Vegas, trying to help out as best he can. He also haunts casinos and tourist traps when he's taking a break from this hero stuff.
Potential Subjects of Interest: Sea life, the ocean, ocean-related things, swimming, bus driving, musical theater, swimming, fish, long walks on the beach, finding the perfect velvet Elvis painting, superheroics.

Other Info: So Arthur has just found a GIGANTIC CRUSTACEAN underneath Las Vegas, and he can lead anyone down there provided they have the right equipment. He also probably needs to be constantly watched to make sure he doesn't actually wake the thing up, because that would probably be bad.

Occupation/Position: Barista at Espresso Yourself (no, really, they let the giant birdman make coffee now)

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Torin started out as a zoo animal who escaped once he Echoed back his intelligence. If you have a character that was a zookeeper or veternarian at the Locke City Zoo, they can find out just what happened to that mysteriously escaped or stolen Red and Blue Lory!

Open/Wanted CR: The birdman is very willing to take on students to teach in the art of swordsmanship!

Haunts: Torin spends a lot of time in Espresso Yourself, and there is a park he's rather fond of. He goes flying sometimes, but it's hard now that he's so large and people are so aware of the Numbered.
Potential Subjects of Interest: He likes swords and bravery and has plenty of opinions on zoos.

Other Info: He's got back his GigaGaburevolver, which means he can now transform into Kyoryu Silver, even if he's only got enough juice for one transformation. Basically, this means that he now needs to get into a situation in which someone might want to turn into a Power Ranger and someone to witness this, because the transformation also comes with involuntary dancing.

Robyn Lyre/Ruby Rose | RWBY | Student

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: She's got a lot of aunts, uncles and probably a fair number of cousins that she's not particularly close with due to moving across country a couple times. Fellow classmates.

Open/Wanted CR: Honestly. Open to anything at the moment. She's probably going to be looking for different people to help her defend herself better/try to toughen up.

Haunts: Music stores, the library, comic book shop, anywhere that sells ice cream.
Potential Subjects of Interest: She's very interested in the powers that other people have, to a bit of a fangirly degree. anything superhero related gets her attention.

Other Info: So... Robyn being kidnapped is a thing that's going on right now. I'm not a %100 percent sure what her mindset is going to be when everything is said and done. So plotting ideas may be a little vague until that's over with. She's definitely going to want to try to become more capable of defending/taking care of herself because she just had the bajeezus scared out of her.

Occupation/Position: Teacher, previously of the high school, currently unemployed. Also a werewolf and a newly public figure among the numbered.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: His parents live in Iowa, and he has no siblings. Previous coworkers and people he knew from college are definitely possible, though. And he's super well-known now that he's gone public about being a werewolf, ahaha, so that might bring people out of the woodworks.

Open/Wanted CR: Mentoring type relationships. He's also looking for a new job, so people helping out there and/or potential future coworkers are awesome.

Haunts: The park is a big one, especially after dark. He also will swing by Espresso Yourself, but he doesn't buy anything, being unemployed now. Mostly normal places like the grocery store and such.

Potential Subjects of Interest: Publicity stuff is a big one, so is searching-type stuff as he has that famous nose. He's looking for anything he can do to help out, now that he has a lot of free time on his hands.

Other Info: He will not be leaving town, but he may be porting around to Las Vegas and the new location a bit until he finds a new job. Also, dating Nick Burkhardt. Also also, provided an echo goes through, he's now likely to start being primarily nocturnal, which will make that job hunting a lot more fun, seriously.

Anything Else?: He needs new plot direction, since I can't rely on the high school anymore. Anybody with ideas beyond "offer self for sniffing services" and "job-hunting" will be welcome both IC and OOC.

Pre-Incarnation: Danny Fenton/Danny Phantom, the son of locally famous ghost hunters/significantly more famous ghost hero-and-or-menace.
Location: Locke City, NJ
Occupation/Position: high school student at LCHS, superhero/magical girl.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Danny's parents/sister are off-limits, but feel free to be a more distant relative of the Fentons! I'm also happy to established pre-network friendships (or rivalries) as well as teacher-student relationships!

Open/Wanted CR: Still going for LITERALLY ANYTHING. Friends, fans, people who hate him, people who think he's a wuss, people who think he needs some guidance....ANYTHING.

Haunts: well, since he's a ghost, technically everywhere is a haunt for him. OKAY NO FOR REAL THOUGH, LCHS, of course. The Fenton household, which is a landmark in and of itself. The local park. He's starting to go to Espresso Yourself more often.
Potential Subjects of Interest: Ghosts. Aliens. Area 51. Other conspiracies in general. How very very screwed he is in school.

Other Info: After this whole kidnapping thing is done, he'll be losing his head over some more superpower shenanigans, all are welcome.

Anything Else?: Final call for silly/casual/shenanigans-y CR before October 11th! Danny will probably not be as willing to do that sort of thing after that, so if you want that CR, get it in now!

Jovan Burzek (Nathan Young) // Misfits // dead guy

Pre-Incarnation: Nathan Young, an immortal douchebag who douched onto the wrong side of the law.

Occupation/Position: former college student, hoping to make it back to Vegas

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Mostly LCU or LCHS classmates, or maybe people he lived nearby at some point. Family is tough to work out since most of them are overseas but if you really want to be related to this human shitstain, I'm sure we can work something out.

Open/Wanted CR: uhhh basically anything? Now that the cat's out of the bag as to who Simon Fucking Edwards really is and now that he knows he's immortal, I'm sure dynamics will change, I just have no idea how, haha (but I'm willing to see where it goes!)

Haunts: well, he's hoping to make it back to Vegas ASAP, where he'll be all along the Strip. In Locke, he's basically just staying at home for now.
Potential Subjects of Interest: Scamming Vegas. Asshole cultists. How to not freak out when you die. Y'know, the usual.

Other Info: Most of this is happening off screen, but right now he's having some family troubles, what with his dad thinking he was dead and now wanting to drop out despite his wishes. Also, trying to track down his mom to get all his possessions back. He'll probably make a post about it soon though if people want to get involved in this mess ahaha.

Lazarus "L" Lawliet | Death Note

Occupation/Position: Owner of Espresso Yourself who moonlights as a private investigator. Currently, this is on hold while he sorts himself out following his captivity and torture with the Mafia.

Lazarus "L" Lawliet is the reincarnation of Death Note's L. A homeschooled orphan raised by his exploitative uncle, he got a lot of early attention as a chess prodigy and for his high intelligence, which he applied toward accelerated coursework with the goal of becoming a police detective. Sadly, he suffered a nervous breakdown in his late teens, just one semester short of earning his master's degree in Criminal Justice, and he had to take a "rest" at a psychiatric hospital... which lasted almost three years. When he got out he tried to resume the life he'd wanted but got rejected from the police academy, and this started a downward spiral of untreated mental illness and substance abuse. On the edge of homelessness and struggling through the 17th draft of a derivative and ridiculous detective novel, he started getting echoes consistently, and was immediately humbled by the impressive nature of his preincarnate. The detective L was a wonder who inspired awe in the lackluster Lazarus, but the more he gets of the picture, the more Lazarus is starting to realize that his "heroic detective who saved children" has something of a darker side. Nevertheless, he's working to balance his own self-destructive nature with the good he knows he can do with L's skills and traits.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: People who worked or stayed in White Pines psychiatric hospital between 2007 and 2009, and also... relatives! Relatives would be great, even distant-ass ones. Cousins, aunts, uncles, maternal grandparents, half-siblings, I would love to work with you on this.

Open/Wanted CR: Anything and everything is always wanted. Positive CR, negative CR, frenemies, nurturers, challengers, rivals, role models, everything ever.

Haunts: Right now L is bouncing from hotel to hotel, much like he did in the first arc of Death Note before he built his monument to his penis totally necessary skyscraper HQ. Relatively shortly he will return to Espresso Yourself, which he owns and runs (now with the help of Belle Goldman), where he can be pretty reliably found.

Other Info: Ever since spring L has been investigating Cesar's missing brother Moises, and the progression of the case coincided very unfortunately with the Mafia shit going down. He went on his infiltration mission the day Tony went missing after Chuck sort of blew his cover by leaking information, so L wound up held and tortured alongside Tony. Moises was shot, Tony almost died, and though L doesn't have any really grievous physical injuries, the week took a pretty heavy mental toll on him. Characters can expect to deal with a more volatile person than he's been in the past, due to both PTSD and his attempts to self-medicate. L holds it together 95% of the time pretty decently, but the other 5% of the time, he's a walking neon sign that says "PLEASE HELP ME."

Rakka Yoshitoshi/Rakka | Haibane Renmei

Location: Locke City, NJ
Occupation/Position: High School student

Estranged heiress to a company halfway across the globe, Rakka is a quiet, but very kind girl that was once... Rakka, the Haibane, who was also trying to figure out why she was here and what happened in her previous life.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: She has a father and a mother still living in Japan, and there was a lot of students back there that knew her.

Open/Wanted CR: Anything. Rakka is a generally friendly character, and can get along with most. Negative CR is welcome as well.

Haunts:The Dians residence, which she is currently living at. The library, Locke City High School, the mall.
Potential Subjects of Interest: Things involving angels. Anime. Fairy tales. Books in general.

Other Info: She's going through a bit of an episode right now, as she just learned that she can't fly, and she might not even be an angel after all. As such, she's really kind of sensitive about it, and not much for conversation right now.

Shou's other is a father and a mobboss back in his time/wrld and the whole kidnapping thing triggered a little need to help her. If she was willing, he could teach her some basic survival/street stuff? His speed and way weird almost-but-not-quite vampire skills aren't learnable, but he can help her with toughening up a little.

She'd certainly be up for it. Just a note that she'll probably be a pretty lousy student at first. Basic survival skills would be a handy thing for her to learn and she might actually get a couple echoes from his speed.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Family wise, she has her parents and her uncle, as well as an aunt in France. There's bound to be plenty of relatives around. People from the private school she goes to would be welcome, like students, teachers, anyone else.

Open/Wanted CR: Well... she's already got some negative CR as well as positive CR. I'm sure there'll be others that aren't going to put up with her deciding to be a brat. Pretty interested in something shippy, making more friends and so on.

Haunts: If anyone hangs around the more affluent areas of the city, there's always a chance to meet Emi there, and ironically, in and around the Dead District as well as the clinic. She's also been considering to drop by Expresso Yourself one of these days.

Other Info: Pretty soon she'll find herself getting echoes making her nocturnal, due to echoing back her weakness to the sun, and she'll be needing to adjust to that. After that, she'll start to get her vampire senses back...

Anything Else?: Nope. Maybe I'll set up a CR chart sometime.

That's okay :3 he's not going to expect her to pick up everything at once since it's all new stuff to most people. Let's see... he's got speed, agility, a heightened sense of the space around him, the top human strength and a faster healing factor if there is anything there that also might help with triggering echoes.

Pre-Incarnation: Rikka Hishikawa, who transforms into Cure Diamond
Location: Locke City
Occupation/Position: Recent high school graduate; should have started college by now? Or whatever it starts around these parts?

Winter's come a long way since she first came onto the network. She's no longer the quiet, reserved, stuttering mess she was back then. She's quite a bit more confident than she used to be, and she's a lot more proactive about the goings-on surrounding the network. She and Lily moved into a house together last month, and she's rather enjoying it. Or rather, she was until the mafia decided that Locke was their territory. She can't really leave, so she's going to defend her city - and her precious people - with everything she has, and hopefully be able to live her life in the process.

Pre-Network CR Opportunities: Winter graduated from high school a few months ago; that said, she spent her last quarter in Vegas on an independent study project. So she's hoping to make new friends in college, and that her reputation didn't follow her. Of course, she also appeared on television as Cure Diamond in March, and at least once more since - it's definitely possible you saw her there, since she gave both her name and her transformation's name.

Open/Wanted CR: All the things! I would love more actual friends, but I might also like someone that clashes with her for whatever reason, or other magical girls for her to talk shop with. Seriously though, all the things.

Haunts: Winter and Lily's home near the business district. The public library. Locke City University's campus, as she gets ready for classes to start. The university hospital, to visit her mother.
Potential Subjects of Interest: Most knowledge-based subjects. Magic. Lily. Really, it's not hard to get a hold of her.

Other Info: Winter is a pretty open person, and it's quite hard to anger her on a permanent basis. Please, talk to her? She wants to meet new people, and continue to become the social person she's always wanted to be.

Anything Else?: I have been slow lately! I apologize. I'm trying to get better about things.
