WOW WHO LOVES MUSIC I sure do. This meme is simple: post with your character. Other people post songs that they feel fit that character (preferably with links to somewhere you can listen to said songs) and maybe lyrics or some kind of justification

If the game itself had a soundtrack, what would it be?

I still don't really think in terms of music, but maybe I can think of some things!

Kind of tempted to go with Angel with a Shotgun, but it really fits Yuuya more than the rather more innocent Jules. First time he regains a gun it's gonna be cut text, though!

Well, canonwise (so these are all for Mir, not Miranda, although I guess some of them could fit her?), we have EXEC_DESPEDIA/., EXEC_HARMONIUS/. and EXEC_HARMONIUS_FUSION/., EXEC_SPHILIA/., EXEC_RIG=VEDA/., Dye ~ SEN ~ Will This Flower Bloom?,and EXEC_DISHADOW_includes.Ex_VANISLAND.

As for songs that weren't made for her canon (except Colors, although that was included on the Hymmnos Concert albums), I have no ideas.

I'll put a few here BUT I'm also open to suggestions!

I find her to be a trickier one with it not helping in the remotest that any songs I'd ordinarily associate with Rarity fail to be quite as applicable to Cinderella. XD

Kari's home canon is heavily music-based, so I'd normally just link her character song, but unfortunately, the anime adaptation didn't have much of a budget. What this means is:
1) Sometimes the art goes off-model.
2) Only a few of the voice actors could actually sing.

Caren's VA is the worst of the bunch, but if you -really- want to suffer...

I have a very hard time soundtracking Rebecca, partly because I don't know late '50s/early '60s as well as I really need to for it. However, my flagship Rebecca/Jack song:

I don't really have any songs for Hikari specifically, but maybe that'll change after a round of tags. Idk.

First up: NeoMAX by DM Ashura. No lyrics because it's an instrumental but I think it suits her as leitmotif deal.

Unbreakable by Fireflight. My main theme for her right now. Sad backstory or not, Vanessa is not a fragile person.

Defying Gravity - Glee Version. Let's get one thing clear: I can't stand Glee. What they did to Don't Stop Believing fills me with an fiery, all-consuming anger but fair is fair and I like their version of this song. I picked this one because it fits with her Allomancy powers letting her "fly" and because of what I hope will be her character arc: evolving from a loner who only looks out for herself and believes she can only count on herself to a person able to trust and accept people. Essentially going against the fundamental rules of the world as she knows them right now.

September by Spoken. The amount of ass Vin kicks for the sake of the people she loves approaches shounen-hero levels. She's sliced through entire armies and taken on godlike beings and Vanessa will likely be the same way. That's where I think this song fits.
