THE SAVE THE EARTH COMIC-CON PANEL




Save the Earth, the unexpected hit television show known for managing to juggle tons and tons of characters each with their own plotlines and bizarre "preincarnation" stories has come to Comic-Con! The cast has assembled for a Q&A panel as well as screenings of never-before-seen blooper and possibly some teaser footage that may give some insight into who and what the characters are becoming.


How To Play!
1. This meme assumes that all character canons don't exist in this reality. They've all been created for the show
2. Post with your character. You are now writing the character's "actor" in this strange meta-universe. Include their real name and a little bit about where they came from. Are they a fan favorite? A newcomer to television lucky enough to get their start on such a successful show?
3. Post anonymously (or not) to ask fan questions of other characters! Everything from the ordinary to shipping stuff to creepy and weird. Talk about the show, hint at characters' preincarnations and tease audiences about the crazy stuff future Echoes will bring. Talk about what actors you like to work with and who you can't stand to be around. Tell stories of pranks and shenanigans on set!
4. Or just do whatever you want to do. I don't know. I'm not your boss.

Yeah well

Lena drinks too much and flirts with everyone and is an unabashed bisexual

Really, the main differences between her and Chris is that Lena isn't an engineer and she's known for being kind of an angry loud feminist / LGBTQ activist

She TOTALLY saunters out onto the stage to the tune of Highway To the Danger Zone wearing plastic kid's toy versions of Chris' robot arms and dark sunglasses. She's in a suit and tie. And...]

LADIES! Can I get a HELL YEAH!

to which, of course, Kariya buries his face in his hands, blushes and laughs nervously.

So instead of shouting FUCK YOU, she gives a terse smile.

"Sorry, hon, you'll have to keep that to your filthy fanfic. I've got a cute lady back home."

The aide puts HER face in her hands. Less bad than it could be, but still.

A young girl with a really well done cosplay of Chris in robot mode wants to know how much of the robot arms are computer-animated and how much is costuming.

I LOVE your cosplay, wow, that's awesome. Anyway, it's a little bit of both. They have these really heavy armored sleeves they put on me to get the weight and motion right, but to get the way they move and transform and stuff they use mostly CGI. That's actually the real reason she hasn't used the guns since that one episode... opening up the guns like that costs wayyyy too much money.

But we've got a bigger budget for season 2, so keep your eyes peeled. I'm just saying, my back and ankles? KILLING me.
