TEST DRIVE MEME: Good weather?

IT'S SPRING
I almost literally can't believe it isn't snowing right now just to piss me off.

How it Works
Due to the nature of Save the Earth, it's a more complicated process to play in than most other games. With this in mind, it can't hurt to experiment a little.

Post your character and in the comment share a few details regarding their reincarnation. Repeat if you have multiple ideas you want to try out, as many as you like. It's also suggested that you set a scene and there's a few prompts below to help there, but think outside the box if you like. Then tag around to other threads and help your fellow prospective players to test out their characters and the variations on them. Don't be afraid to presume a little CR to make a scene flow more freely, or to assume an Echo or two. If you have an app, complete or in progress, you might want to link it.

Current players may also use these meme to test out specific future Echoes, or as a general meme. Certain scenarios may even be transferred to game canon if both parties agree and it does not conflict with in game events.

Abandoning all paranoia, everyone has turned up at a barbecue. It's the wildest party imaginable.

Apparently Locke City has one. I bet it's nice.

All that nature out there can be visited too.

Oh man, this is the worst location prompt ever. I apologise.

Prompt 2: Event
Suddenly, Rain
And here's you in just a white shirt and short shorts.
A Public Echo
One of those places up there triggers an inexplicable Echo. Are you going to have to grab a hat to hide those new horns? Maybe it's even your first.
A Date
I hear nice weather gets people in the mood for romance. I'm against it, personally.
Here on Business
Mysterious goings on have been detected in the area and it's your job to check them out. Some suggested shenanigans could include plants that try to eat people, a red herring new statue or maybe this thing popping out from behind a bush to play a saxophone in an irritating manner. Go nuts.
Getting Used to a New Echo
Maybe this one is a pain in the butt, either if because it's noticeable or hard to control. Or maybe you just like to practice.
Everything is Normal
Things aren't bizarre 24/7, you know.
Alien Invasion
The Martians* are attacking! They want our brains/world/women/hot dogs. Take these freaks out... or cower in terror.

*Martians are not actual Save the Earth villains.

Hm? [he frowns] Oh uh the stupid crazy shit that's been going on... I don't know if I'm supposed to talk about it outside of the secret number club, bro. [but... this IS his twin brother. Doesn't he deserve to know? He takes a bite of his jerky] Well I told you I had to go to the hospital, right? Well... it wasn't food poisoning. It was something else.

[And she walks in a circle around it, frowning, then back at Mamoru]

[he coughs, looking down at his jerky, which only does so much to stave off that hunger]

... It was something else. Something weird. I... kind of [he runs the next part of the sentence together] puked-up-my-entire-stomach-and-it-grew-back. ... Since then, I really haven't been able to sate my hunger. It's really irritating.

[Oh right, staring is rude. She clears her throat nervously]

[He's...really, really hoping she's not about to go "just kidding!!" and laugh at him.]

[A deep breath. Whew, okay. It doesn't seem like she's about to change her mind about it, so...]

So, how long? Since you started seeing things other people can't, I mean.

Other people can't? I mean it's pretty easy to miss, maybe they're just not looking? Weird.

[She focuses her attention on him specifically for the first time.]

I don't know about seeing things, but I had a bad feeling about the bus last week, so I took a bike, and I heard this ex-Marine T-boned his Hummer into it. -nobody got hurt, but still.

Me, I've just been seeing dead people since I was ten.

Thanks? I think? I don't actually know how long it's been going on, it's not all the time, or anything.

Ten? Wow. That's uh, that sounds like it could go pretty wrong.

[another chuckle, less forced. Then he frowns and looks away, kicking at a crumpled beer can in the alley. He could try and lie. But Mamoru was always really good at calling Shiro's bluffs]

I... don't really know.

[Jungo is physically not very different then his past life. Tall and a little scary looking, he's just outta high school and living on his own, having aged out of foster care last year.]

A: Street

[Every day after work Jungo makes a stop in a few specific back alleys. The oversized young man is a common sight, crouching around trash cans and talking quietly to nothing... until the half feral cats come out to greet him and get leftovers from the restaurant]

B: Work

[Jungo works at a restaurant, training to be a professional cook. But he doesn't just work in the back: he serves, he buses, he mops- If you've eaten in this place, you've seen Jungo. And he's probably tried to befriend you if you're there more then twice]

C: The Street pt 2- oh shit Echos

[He's a peaceful creature- until you hurt someone he cares for. Perhaps someone picked on his cats. Maybe a random person was being mugged. Either way Jungo is going to town on some thugs. And hauling them around better then your average human should.

Part of him is seeing the gang that almost killed him in a past life, all ganging up while he tried to protect someone. So much so that he doesn't realize he miiight be causing more damage then he should. He's a beast enraged, and could end up having to be taken down himself before he'll stop]

[Jungo isn't much of a swimmer, but it's a pretty day and his Boss had practically forced him to take a day off. He was getting ready to leave, his tote on his shoulder when it started to rain.

He blinks up at the clouds, not too upset considering he's already wet. But then he hears the lady mention it, and without a word digs through his bag and opens up an umbrella (he's stayed out in the rain with his alley friends often enough), holding it over her]

[A orange tabby with white paws trots by... until it get's close to Mamoru and the ghost. Then it puffs up and growls at the empty air]
