DAEMON MEME

a DAEMON is an animal that represents your character's soul in some way; the concept originates from Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy.
HANDY WIKI LINK
Daemons are ALMOST ALWAYS the opposite gender of their person, and while their shape reflects their person's personality, they don't always agree with their person. Someone who seems stern might have a stern daemon... or they may have a boisterous one, showing a hidden side to them.
Children who haven't been through puberty have daemons that shapeshift, but they often have favorite forms.
SO
1. POST WITH YOUR CHARACTER.
2. If you know what their Daemon would be, tell us, and explain why! Is their preincarnation daemon any different than their reincarnation's? Why or why not?
3. If you're like WOW LAWL I HAVE NO CLUE then post asking for advice
4. RP stuff out! This is open to potential applicants as well for them to get a feel for their characters. Daemons are a great way to suss out personality traits.

But since his Kudan is FREAKING HOUSE SIZED and phoenixes aren't an actual thing, I decided on a Nicobar Pigeon. This, this, this and this should tell you all about why. They're just that fabulous. Also, pigeons are clever and social birds, and I bet she'd be a lot more sensible than her human B|
IC that translates to...
You'd assume, from the look of it, that this is a shallow man and his shallow daemon, fixed only on appearances; the same which is often said in ill spirits about those with butterflies and the like by their side.
But perhaps something else is hinted at in the way she moves, dumpy little thing that she still is. She's not a picture of studied grace, not like the man at all, and when not perching on his person she seems just as content to run along on the ground as she is to fly. Her name is Nyssa, a name which doesn't sound like much, but the meaning of it is 'beginning'. And those eyes with their white iris framing the pupil, like the contrast between snow and earth... they don't seem to miss much, bright with curiosity and attention. So perhaps the surface is just that, a surface, and perhaps they both like it that way.]
