TL;DR Meme

Post with your character.

Other people ask you a question. Anything from "What is your favorite color?" to "What do you think of Tavia?" to "What does it mean to be human in this technological era?"

If you're short of ideas for questions, "What do you think of me?" is an easy one that people usually want answered.

You respond with as much wordage as you can.

At some point in this process, entertainment is generated. At the very least, curiosity is satisfied.

(Sorry for slowness!)

I'm not really sure yet, because all I have is the tail, and it's weird, but it's come in handy a couple of times. And I've kind of had a chance to get used to it, and it doesn't, like, totally disrupt my life like I was afraid it might.

But I know other-me's real body isn't remotely human, and I don't know how things are going to be when I get more pulses of it, which I assume is going to happen. I think he can change into more things than just his alien body and his human one, but I don't have a whole lot of memories of that yet. It's pretty frustrating, not knowing how it works. Like, I'm sure there are rules about it, and I kind of remember that other-me had some training in how to do it--like classes, maybe? Or something before he joined their military? But I've had to figure it all out from scratch.

Why don't you want to talk about your pulses?

So, you won't know until you actually have it or the pulses explain it a bit more. It's good to hear that your -- [A momentary pause.] -- tail isn't causing you problems.

[There's another moment of silence at the question. As if it caught him off guard. He's tries to keep his voice stern as he talks, but he doesn't mean to be harsh.]

...I don't talk about my pulses because they are personal. What I saw... [His voice was wavering.] I don't want anyone else to know or be haunted by that. [Some strength returns to it, but a bit of an exhale and a chuckle manages to get out.] Of course saying that is going to cause you to protest -- as well as many others if they ever found out.
