Well, as someone who's regrettably read too many romance novels for work and has seen actual gay porn and is gay themselves; I don't really like it. The set-in-stone portrayals of positions in relationships is really terrible. It's also pretty degrading for someone who's actually gay.

To the extent that it's borderline offensive, depending on the example.
