She kept her eyes on him as he opened the bag, chuckling at the way he shook his head. Of course, she'd berated him on spoiling her too much, on a few occasions. It was light-hearted, and never particularly serious as she knew she liked to spoil the kid as much as Lucas did.

"I promise. No more comments from me." She playfully nudged his shoulder with hers, chuckling lightly. Her arm draped around his waist, and she called out to Elise just as Lucas asked about lunch. The sound of the phone buzzing reached her ears though, and she felt a bit of dread. Lucas was a busy man, with his work, but she kind of hoped he didn't have to disappear on them. This was a nice day, and she selfishly wanted it to continue. The moment was worth savoring.

"That sounds good... Sounds like someone else wants your attention though." She said playfully, nodding to the phone in his pocket.
