IC IRC Chat Schedule and Instructions

Taking into account the availability of everyone who replied, let's do the IRC chat tomorrow, Wednesday November 6th, starting at 6:00 PM US Central Time. That's 4 PM on the west coast and 7 PM on the east coast, and continuing as long as people have the endurance for it. Showing up late or leaving early are both perfectly acceptable.

For people who know IRC: Using your client of choice, connect to irc.rizon.net and join the room #savetheearth.

For people who don't know IRC and want an easy way to join:
1. Go here.
2. Enter a nickname for your character.
3. Enter #savetheearth for the channel, # included.
4. Click start.

Basic commands everyone should know: /nick blah to change your nickname to blah, /me does a thing to do a thing.

I think the only remaining question is, who will ICly start the chat? If there are no volunteers, I can have Annie do it.

Think I missed what this was. Is this something you're doing for fun, or does this somehow count toward the game's events?

Ahh, okay. I don't have to feel too terrible that I'll be in class then, but gosh I hope everybody has a blast. Used to do that sort of thing in AIM chats in a game ages back, it was super fun.
