Post a comment describing a hypothetical meeting between the Save the Earth AU version of your character (IE the one in this game) and the original version (IE the one straight out of the TV show/book/game.) either with a description of their opinions or with an actually written out conversion.

Also, if you like, you can continue by way of tagging other people's posts, and threading out an encounter between your StE AU and their Original Flavor version. Or between your your Original Flavor and their StE AU.

new!bananas would sort of marvel over old!bananas circa ep 6 because he's actually a badass who more or less knows what he's doing by then. which is leagues more than his reincarnation has at the moment. 1. is in control of his near-sentient mech that has a penchant for chewing up people's souls and spitting them back out, 2. has no problem getting yelly at the froofy antagonists et al., 3. got the girl, 4. saved everyone and foiled a bunch of conspirators' plans while doing so IN SPAAAACE.

when asked how he did this old!bananas would probably be like BLOOD, SWEAT, AND TEARS BECAUSE THIS. IS. UUUUCCCCCCC and then boot him in the chest.

no i'm kidding, but he probably wouldn't even know how to share his insight just yet since he's still in the thick of his ongoing canon. old!bananas might be just the slightest bit jealous that new!bananas has grown up with his mother (not in a shitheap of a colony, if the novels are anything to go by) and that he's slightly more well-adjusted. he'd also be horrified that his reincarnate isn't obsessively latching onto audrey/mineva he needs her to need him space puberty is hard and no one understands. they'd be mutually annoyed in some circular way that they have to go through all of that bs again.

And all of a sudden there's a not!Vanessa there, crouching down by Haro and poking at him curiously.

Despite the two of them looking nearly identical, Vin is a little different from Vanessa. A year or two older, with longer hair and a pair of scars on both her cheeks, clearly from knife cuts, that nearly line up with each other. She's also dressed in clothes of muted colors, a cloak made up of long, grey strips of fabric and a sash around her waist and barefoot. She's also carrying a pair of long daggers in sheaths at her sides.

"So, this is the 'robot'?" She says, more to herself than anybody around her.

"Yeah," Banagher answers, more out of habit than anything. He'd known it'd be different, but — well. He might be staring, but more in an effort to wrap his brain around the sight. Having a literal embodiment of who someone you know once was was a little...

...startling.

"Well, one of them."

"One of them? Hm." She prods at Haro once more curiously before standing up, her movements almost... unnaturally smooth and measured, and turns to Banagher. "How many of these things are there in this other world?"

"I can't say for sure. Thousands, maybe," he says, speculating for the most part. Whoever she really was, or used to be, she'd taken Vanessa's level of control and made it skyrocket. Or was its true source? Either way, his attention is a little torn in half. But he smiles away, crouching down to scoop Haro up.

"He's unique, though."
