A simple meme. Post a comment describing a hypothetical meeting between the Save the Earth AU version of your character (IE the one in this game) and the original version (IE the one straight out of the TV show/book/game.) either with a description of their opinions or with an actually written out conversion.

Also, if you like, you can continue by way of tagging other people's posts, and threading out an encounter between your StE AU and their Original Flavor version. Or between your your Original Flavor and their StE AU.

Age doesn't have anything to do with it. I'm practically an adult where I'm from. And I'm talking about the kind of choices when you're fighting for humanity's survival.

Humanity's survival? Wait, like, mass extinction, that kind of thing? How many titans are there? But wait, I guess if they're big enough that doesn't matter, huh.

There are thousands of them at the very least. There's no way of knowing for sure, but they might well outnumber us by now.

In desperate times, you can't really be blamed for making decisions that might piss people off. Even if you have to bend your own morals a bit to do it. That's what I think, at least.

Tell that to Alan. He seems to think we should all just lie down and let the titans eat us.

Why, though? Like you said, you're not him and he's not you. If the time comes where he has to make a decision that heavy... maybe he'll figure it out on his own. And maybe the entirety of humanity won't be at stake. Maybe it'll just be him, or his girlfriend.

From the sound of things, humanity is already in danger in your world too. You people should be fighting with everything you've got, all of you. Alan isn't me, but he remembers what it's like where I'm from. He should already know this.

We don't know enough yet to do an all-out attack like yours. We don't even know their weaknesses. And for some of us, keeping ourselves safe is taking all we've got. Don't get me wrong, I don't think we should just sit around and let terrible things happen to us, but we need more information.

That much makes sense. It's not like we just rush at the titans without any planning either.

But it seems to me like you're not using all the resources you have. From Alan, I got the impression that a lot of you try to avoid those echo things instead of trying to make them happen as often as possible.

Because we can't control them, dude. The next echo any of us gets has exactly as much chance to kill us as it does to help us. I'm echoing back into a statue, basically.

But there's still the chance of gaining powers and skills that can help you.

I don't know if I like our odds. I think it's something else we need more information about before we start using it like a weapon.

But I'm no tactician. That's just what I think.
