He hasn't had too much interaction with Marisa, honestly, so in his mind she's basically like the more reasonable, more predictable, and less crazy version of Octavia. And he is very okay with that, because it means he can afford to be a bit less tense around Marisa.

...also he totally felt like a rebel at that end of summer party at her house. There was alcohol and he could drink it if he wanted, even though he was only 15!!!! Wow. So edgy. So cool. Danny feels like he needs to be wearing a leather jacket when he talks to her.
