Hajime is absolutely flummoxed as to how Shou can be so carefree in the way he lives his life. In a way, he's kind of envious of that, because he's been groomed to take over the family business from a young age, without any regards as to what he might want to do with his life. Shou's irresponsibility just seems so foreign to him. He probably needs more of that in his life so he doesn't just lose himself in his work completely.
